Throw Masters Crystal Pond is the second in the Throw Masters Triad (series): three NEFA and PDGA Sanctioned C Tier Masters tournaments in Northern Connecticut. This event is a one day, two round event for most, with ratings based divisions that will only play one round.

Series event dates are:
05/11/24 at Wickham Park in Manchester, CT
07/14/24 at Crystal Pond Park in Woodstock, CT
10/05/24 at Norbrook Farm in Colebrook, CT

Crystal Pond has a $5 pay to play that will be covered by DGZ. Tournament Fees are $39 Amateur (with $10 additional for non-PDGA members), and $49 PRO.

Female divisions will be able to register 11 days ahead of general registration.

Players pack is a custom disc, custom mini and a couple of other useful disc golf related items (based on sponsorships*).

Amateur players compete for custom award discs.
Award system:
First place in every populated division.
First and Second places in divisions with 4 or more people.
First, Second and Third places in divisions with 6 or more people.
Awards beyond the above are at the discretion of the tournament director.

PRO players will have cash payouts.

Raffle tickets are available for $5 during online registration OR cash/Venmo only on day of event.

Ace pot is $5 during online registration OR cash/Venmo on day of event. If no ace is hit the ace pot is donated to Audubon.

$5.00 from each Amateur players tournament fees pays the course for the day.

$2.00 from each players entry will fund for the series awards. Series awards will be determined following the Norbrook event. You must participate in at least two events to qualify for the Throw Masters Triad awards. Those who play in all three events, will have their three best round ratings (from all possible rounds) used to determine their series finish. For the Series: Top 3 in each division will receive an award.

Proceeds from all Throw Masters events will be donated to Throw Pink to help Grow The Sport.

Please do not allow economic reasons to prevent you from playing in any Disc Golf Zen event. Reach out to me privately and we can figure out a way to make participation affordable.

If the majority in a division feels strongly about playing one round instead of two, the requirement for the entire division may be changed. Please reach out if this is the case.

Disc Golf Zen is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. We will issue a full refund as long as there are players on the waitlist or prior to July 13, 2024. No refund after July 12, 2024. AM dropouts after July 12, 2024 still receive player pack discs, which can be mailed for $5 extra or picked up from us at any Disc Golf Zen events.
