Three Disc Challenge with Team Taylor Disc Golf
About this tournament
Come have some fun to end 2023! Unsanctioned, cash payouts, everyone gets a player's pack disc, and CTP prizes. Now, go ahead and read the rest for more detail.
This is a three-disc challenge event: all players are limited to only three discs of their choice. You choose three discs from your bag to play with and must throw only those three discs for the round.
This is an unsanctioned event, so you do not need to be a PDGA member to play. Invite your friends who play casually to come give this fun tournament a try!
Juniors under 18 may enter at a discounted rate so bring the kids!
There are 3 divisions: MPO is for players above 935 rating-wise which is considered advanced. RAB is for all players who would be rated 935 and below (beginner to intermediate skill levels). The juniors division is open to all players under the age of 18.
This will be a short layout with many ace-able holes. We will play shorts on Deerfield 1-3,6-9, short Wildwood 6,7,5 and then short Deerfield 10-17. There will be no OBs. If you encounter casual players on the Wildwood course holes, please be courteous since we will only be closing the Deerfield course. You may sign up for the ace pool for a small extra fee. There will only be one ace pot. If no aces are hit, we will have an ace/CTP throw off on Wildwood 18 short following the round.
Every player will receive a Luke Taylor 2023 fundraiser disc for the player's pack. This is NOT the Luke Taylor Rookie of the Year Disc. We will have some ROY discs for sale if interested. There will be CTP disc prizes on many holes.
$5 of the entry fee for each player goes into payouts for the winners in those divisions. If we have more than 10 players in a division there will be multiple cash payouts, otherwise this is a winner-take-all event.
