I played Arvesta and the white course is currently set up in the long position (The One). I'm not sure when they switch them but I'd recommend other AM1 players wait if they're planning practice rounds!

When are the pads projected to be completed by?

CHARLES RAIFF   July 19, 2022 at 4:54pm

Soon. I know that answer doesn't help much, but that's the most official answer I have. They worked on the compacted stone sublayer last week, with the asphalt-composite top layer to be installed soon after that.

What is the refund/cancellation policy? I recently broke my foot and while I’m optimistic about being able to play in September, I’m curious. Thanks!

The refund policy has been updated (as of 7-6-2022) to show the specifics on the front page. Refund Policy Updated 7-6-2022 to come into compliance with PDGA refund policy guidelines (Competition Manual 1.03) Charles C Raiff is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. 1.) Will ma3 and ma4 be playing the same courses on each day? Trying to coordinate the trip with a few buddies. And how staggered will tee times be? I assume it’ll be dependent on how many players there are, but figured I’d ask

Ben, unfortunetly it's a little early to be able to say for sure. The current plan is for MA4 and MA3 to play at the same course each day, with a staggered tee-time of approx. 15 minutes per card. However, this is all dependent on how many people in each division sign up. Pool information and such will be finalized in early August.

Pool information has been published now. Check the About section, the schedule, or the sticky comment at the top of the comments section for information.

So tee times on Friday would be between 10 am and 6pm correct?

CHARLES RAIFF   April 21, 2022 at 2:52am

Basically yes. Some divisions may start before 10am if there are a large number of participants.

Drake Evans    April 15, 2022 at 7:21pm

do you know what layouts we'll be playing at arvesta?

CHARLES RAIFF   April 15, 2022 at 8:08pm

This is not set in stone yet, so this may change: AM1 will (most likely) be playing White Layout short; everyone else will (most likely) be playing Yellow Layout short. Arvesta is still tweaking some holes, so this may change.

I see there are invites for this tourney, so wondering what the qualifications are to play? (Is it open to anyone?) Also, where do the invites come from? (How did people qualify for an invite)

CHARLES RAIFF   March 25, 2022 at 3:12pm

Invites were for Pre-registration, and access to these were for people who purchased a sponsorship package via the event website. However, registration opened to the public in early March, and you can register to play now. This tournament is open to any Amateur (sorry, no Pros this year) with an Active PDGA membership

Is there anyway to request the latest tee time for Friday?! I’d love to play in this but won’t be able to take the whole day off work with the holiday being the Monday before

Also curious about this.

CHARLES RAIFF   March 23, 2022 at 7:24pm

Unfortunately, not much. I asked the PDGA about this back in December, and due to PDGA Competition manual 1.06, I can't do "reserved times". Higher divisions will typically play in early afternoon (predicted), but that will all depend on how many people sign up.

Super excited about this Charles! Thank you for all you do!

Thank you for the kind words. I look forward to seeing you (and roughly 200 of your closest disc golf friends) there for this event!
