30 min between Arvesta and Shore Acres vs 45 min between Arvesta and LTP. So you can find a place that is within an hour of each course easily. Or you can stay at a different place for the nights depending on where you play.

As for the challenge, I get that but Lake Township Park is not a pitch and putt.

The reason this is a problem is 90% of the course IS a pitch and putt for the MPO field. This is an A tier event that could draw an incredible MPO field. It is not whiny to want MPO to actually play a course that suits their level for an A tier Q series tournament and to want an event to be as good as it can be.
You might see this as negative but to us MPO players is about having the best event possible. When this many players have something to say it might be worth listening to their feedback to create the best possible event.
If things don’t change that is fine but at least we can say we tried to improve the event.

Frank, thank you for your input and honest feedback. I understand your desire to play multiple rounds at Arvesta, but that's just not how this event is laid out. Trying to showcase 3 distinct styles of courses during this event. Airbnb, hotels and campgrounds are plentiful in the area, particularly with this being outside of the normal "tourist season". I would suggest starting your search in the South Haven area, but would also expand to the St. Joseph/Benton harbor areas. While scoring separation options are tight at Sand Ridge, there is opportunity there, particularly with the two additional holes. I definitely understand that. I get the desire to split up the styles of courses but if we played from yellows at Arvesta, that would work just as well. I also think with some work on SHARA, that could fill that gap too. The distance is difficult. I would hope you and your team might consider alternate options as I know it would bring more competition.

Layouts are both on Third Coast Championship website and uDiscs, however as a quick description: Sand Ridge DGC will use the standard 18 + 2 temp holes. Shore Acres uses all 24 holes with a mix of yellow and black. Arvesta uses the standard Yellow/White/Blue layouts depending on which division you are in.

We already replaced River with Shore Acres -- let's just keep moving north every year? :) All joking aside, there are two key reasons Lake Township (SRDGC) is in the event -- 1.) Third Coast Championship is hosted by Sand Ridge Disc Golf Club, so of course we're gonna use our home course in the event. 2.) Third Coast Championship is here to celebrate all of Michigan disc golf -- this includes park style courses. Park style courses have a rich tradition in Michigan, and we want to celebrate that disc golf heritage.
