The hole assignments don’t specify North or South course.

You will be on south first. Please check your spam email for the messages with all the info

PSA. I was just out at the course. As many of you know, the vegetation on the south course really bloomed this winter. Now, most of it is dead or dying. Much of this vegetation is shedding burrs that can grab your pants, socks and even shirts. I'd wear clothing that does not attract those things, or at a minimum, be aware of them sticking to you after brushing up next to some of that stuff. See you all tomorrow.

Yep, good tip. I always wear pants rather than shorts and durable shoes out there. The stickers and burrs are a pain, but so are the Palo Verdes, Mesquites, Creosotes, etc if you end up in a rough lie.

@Jonathan Leffelman, couple of clarifications. South course Hole 5, there's some White string at the back side of the rocks, but it's broken in places and sort of carves out a peninsula on the far side of the rocks. I'm assuming the OB line is the rocks themselves and not the broken up and difficult to decipher string, right?

Second clarification. Hole 18 has the first tree marked with the yellow tape and another tree down by the start of the woodchips marked with red tape. Are those playing as mandos, or are we just playing the left curb and anything outside the woodchips as OB?

Jonathan Leffelman   May 3 at 11:37pm

Great questions. South hole 5 OB is just the rocks, no other markings. Disc must be 100% on the rocks.

Jonathan Leffelman   May 3 at 11:38pm

Hole 18 north will not have mandos, just the OB noted

Garrett Smallwood   May 3 at 11:48pm

Awesome, thanks, Jonathan.

Saul Juarez    May 3 at 10:07pm

Can we still sign up and pay day of?

Jonathan Leffelman   May 3 at 11:39pm

There will be NO day of sign ups. There is room for a couple late registrations, please email me.

Christopher Lee    May 3 at 8:33pm

My son is 13 and would like to compete. How does it work if no one else is in his division and who will he card up with? Could he potentially just card with me in mA3?

Jonathan Leffelman   May 3 at 11:41pm

because amateurs are receiving player packs and not payout, it won’t matter if anybody else is in his division. I’ll have to see if we can make adjustments to get late registrants in.

Jonathan Leffelman    April 29 at 5:40pm

Extra player pack discs have arrived allowing some more amateur spots.

Garrett Smallwood   April 29 at 6:34pm

Is that going to force us to play both courses both tounds, or are you just planning on some cards of 5?

Jonathan Leffelman   April 29 at 7:09pm

I am working on creating an A and B pool, one to play each course before switching for the second round to allow for better pace of play than cards of 5.

Armando Cruz   April 30 at 1:34pm

Yes, A & B pools would be great! Cards of 5 on South, would take forever. That course is pretty long!

Carter Olson    April 27 at 6:47pm

Hey Could you please move me up to the ma2 division I am currently in ma3.

Jonathan Leffelman    April 26 at 8:35pm

Our extra disc order has been completed and should ship today. If it arrives by Thursday, the registration count will be opened up slightly and player pack options will be a bit wider with 5 more molds.

I’m traveling from Indiana to play this tournament with family. I need the schedule to plan my itinerary!

Jonathan Leffelman   April 25 at 12:32pm

First round will start at 8am. Plan to be done around 1pm, if pace of play is as anticipated.

Rich Batman Brill   April 26 at 3:56pm

Thank you. Curios, is North or South first? I’m guessing that 72 player roster, that there will be a shotgun start on one of the courses?

Jonathan Leffelman   April 26 at 8:08pm

South will be first. Details will emailed out by this sunday

Armando Cruz    April 23 at 3:02pm

Played the new south for the first time, sheesh. Are the par's on UDisc going to be the ones used for this tournament?

I assume you played the pro long layout. I plan on using the regular south layout, if it can be available on UDisc again. It’s a bit shorter

Garrett Smallwood   April 23 at 3:43pm

Yeah, I just looked and only the Long is listed on UDisc right now for some reason. Should we ask Pete why the regular layout disappeared?

Armando Cruz   April 23 at 5:34pm

I just saw Pete's comment about RM South in the FB group. So it sounds like some decent change is coming to the course in the near future. I'll just wait for the course email to go out instead of relying on UDisc. Thanks! Looking forward to the event.

Jonathan Leffelman    April 16 at 11:52pm

Thanks to the event filling our underestimated 60 player cap, I have ordered more discs for player packs. If these can arrive in time, I will expand the player cap to 72. Thanks for the support, can’t wait to see everyone there!

That's awesome!

John Scheinpflug   April 17 at 12:45am

Are you playing the new layouts on North and South?

Jonathan Leffelman   April 18 at 9:21pm

Yes, current UDisc layouts

Garrett Smallwood    April 12 at 7:43pm

Is the plan to play the current layout at both courses with no pop ups or anything? 7 short on South and 18 long on North? Both of those have both baskets in right now.

Jonathan Leffelman   April 12 at 7:58pm

That’s the plan. Layout details will be emailed out soon, should be exactly as shown on UDisc

Jonathan Herring    April 8 at 1:04am

Are you doing same day sign ups as well?

Jonathan Leffelman   April 8 at 1:14am

Not likely, I’ll be decreasing the player cap but extending registration a little bit. Player packs are being ordered tomorrow to ensure they’re here in time.

Jonathan Leffelman    April 3 at 1:17am

Amateur player packs will include one premium disc and one mini with mini TLDG stamps. The anticipated discs are listed below. There will only be about 10 of each available first come, first serve, so arrive early if there’s something specific you’d like.

170-172 halo star invader
170-172 metal flake thunderbird
165-169 I-dye star roadrunner
165-169 champ glow shryke
175-177 luster Roc3

More event details coming soon!

I signed up for MA4. What’s the event the day before?

Jonathan Leffelman   March 18 at 11:32pm

There’s a putting event the day before, they’re unrelated so I don’t know details.

Scott Corrado    March 16 at 3:21am

I wanted to know if you will add an MA4 division. If you do I will sign up. Thanks

Jonathan Leffelman   March 16 at 3:35am

I can add MA4. At the moment you could play MA3 and be the only competitor in the division.
