The Vortica Disc Golf 2024 Paradise Plates is on the NZDG Tour and also the final event in the Tour Down Under four event series. This series is here to modernise and supercharge disc golf in New Zealand, and offer an ideal off-season destination for international players.

Priority registration for this event is available with AfterPay for players registering for three or more Tour Down Under events (see https://tourdownunder.co.nz/products/multi-event-registration-with-afterpay).

Earlybird Disc Golf Wanaka paid up club member registration will open at 6pm on 2nd October 2023.

Tournament Info:
11am Friday 16th February - Paradise Plates Doubles Players Meeting at HQ (one round x 18 holes) - Tee off at 11.30am & course open for practice to everybody else from 12pm.

Saturday 17th to Monday 19th February - Singles Tournament (three x 18 holes : one round per day).

NB The organisers reserve the right to remove divisions and place players in
the nearest appropriate division.

Accommodation
There is limited accommodation still available at the Paradise Trust property for a minimum of four nights (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday)

We have to pay for exclusive use of the property for these four nights so are now passing on this cost to make the books balance. In previous years, we have had to pay for the four nights but have not passed on the cost. *

Event Fees

The price of entry includes a players pack disc and lunches on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday and night disc on the Sunday night.

Disc Golf Wanaka Incorporated is responsible for all refunds and cancellations.

1. Any withdrawals before 8pm, 26th January 2024 will receive a full refund.

2. No refunds will be issued after 8pm, 26th January 2024.

3. Eligible Circumstances for Refunds after 8pm, 26th January 2024:
Refund requests submitted after 8pm, 26th January 2024 will be considered under the following circumstances:
a. Medical Emergency: A player sustains a medical injury or illness that prevents their participation. Documentation from a qualified medical professional may be required.
b. Tournament Cancellation: In the event the Vortica Disc Golf 2024 Paradise Plates is canceled for any reason, participants will receive a full refund of their registration fees.

4. Refund Processing:
Refunds will be processed within 10 working days of receiving a valid refund request.
Refunds will be issued via DG Scene.

5. Non-Refundable Items:
PayPal fees and certain items, such as custom tournament merchandise or optional add-ons, may be non-refundable. Please refer to the specific event details for clarification.

6. Discretion:
The Vortica Disc Golf 2024 Paradise Plates reserves the right to exercise discretion in exceptional cases and may consider refund requests that do not strictly adhere to this policy.

NB Waitlist players who are promoted to the registration list must pay within 24 hours of receiving their email notification or will forfeit their promotion.
