My job is to always give you the best player experience, educate, uphold the integrity of our game and show you how fantastic the Texas disc golf scene can be, the best scene! All the preparation, communication and efforts months prior to the event make any Onestar Disc Golf and Gorilla Disc Golf events something special as the smallest details are always considered with a player’s perspective in mind. Chris Vandagriff and I constantly discuss disc golf events, how to improve, brag on our teams and challenge each other to make the next one better for you all! I’m sure Chris and I will already be talking tomorrow about Vic Open and Texas States for 2023, lol. Sponsors and Player sponsors thank you so much as you help us get the water, Gatorades, snacks, signs and make it such a great experience! CHECK IN: No need to Check IN you will already be assigned a card and hole prior to event. Hole assignments will be posted on PDGA event page link https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/62298
Players should be at their starting holes at least 10 min BEFORE the 9am start time. In the case a player does not show to your card, make sure you have AT LEAST 3 PLAYERS on the card. In the event you do not, one player will go to a forward card, one player back. This can be adjusted using the PDGA Live Score (Contact TD if needed) (Contact TD if needed) (361-218-3384)
PLAYERS MEETING: Virtual Players meeting emailed on Thursday prior to event. Player’s meeting will also be transcribed on Facebook, DG Scene and posted at HQ for the day of sign-up players.

SATURDAY:
ROUND 1: 9am - (Shotgun Start)
ROUND 2: 1hr & 15 mins after last card from round 1 is finalized.

SUNDAY:
ROUND 3: RIVERSIDE DGC (TEE TIMES)
GENERAL RULES:
All PDGA Rules will be followed to promote fair play for all disc golfers. If any point in dispute is not covered by the rules, the decision is made in accordance with fairness.

The TWO-meter rule IS NOT IN EFFECT!
Use provisional throws when necessary to save time!

OUT of BOUNDS (806.02 Out-of-Bounds): Sidewalk & beyond, Fence & Beyond, Roads, Parking Lots, Creeks Surrounded by Water and beyond, Pylons and Beyond *inside Edge of Pylon*, Painted Lines.

(806.02 Out-of-Bounds) C: A disc that cannot be found is considered to be out-of-bounds if there is compelling evidence that the disc came to rest within an out-of-bounds area. In the absence of such evidence, the disc is considered lost and play proceeds according to 805.03.

805.03 Lost DISC: (3) minutes to locate (everyone must HELP!), if determined lost proceed to previous lie w/ one stroke penalty.

Digital Scoring: Please use Virtual Score Card @ PDGA.com/score code: VIC22
Follow Live: PDGA.com/live for following or watching anywhere! Rule 808 Scoring must be followed without exception. There will also be a paper card available at HQ for back up purposes.

RIVERSIDE Hole Specific Rules:
● Hole 2 – Mandatory Left of Marked Tree; Use marked Drop zone (DZ) if missed.
● Hole 7 – ISLAND –MARKED BY LINE; OB is Marked. Throw from Drop Zone if Tee
Shot lands OB. Subsequent shots thrown OB should be marked where disc was last in bounds.
● Hole 8 - 806.04 Relief Area (BIG DIRT DUMP MARKED BY ORANGE PAINT) Proceed to DZ; no penalty throw is assessed to a player whose disc comes to rest in the relief area.
● Hole 10 - 806.04 Relief Area (BIG DIRT DUMP MARKED BY ORANGE PAINT) Proceed to DZ; no penalty throw is assessed to a player whose disc comes to rest in the relief area.
● Hole 12 – OB running along rivers edge LEFT fairway, OB LINES PAINTED & FLAGS.
All other holes follow general rules and PDGA rules.

FOX BEND Hole Specific Rules:
Hole 7: MANDATORY (2)! First Mando Right of marked Tree, if missed RE-TEE,
2nd Mando Right of Marked Tree fairway, if missed proceed to Drop Zone (DZ)
Hole 8: 806.02 Out-of-Bounds (H) - Take 2 meters from River Edge
HOLE 10: MANDATORY left of marked Tree; Use Drop Zone (DZ) if missed.
HOLE 11: HAZARD (806.05) Lake in front of Basket; Play disc as it lies with (1) Stroke penalty if complete surrounded by hazard.
HOLE 12: 806.02 Out-of-Bounds (H) - Take 2 meters from River Edge
HOLE 13: MANDATORY Right of marked Tree; Use Drop Zone (DZ) if missed.
O.B. right of Fairway, marked by paint & white stakes. Big Drop off BE CAREFUL!
HOLE 16: MANDATORY left of marked Tree; Use Drop Zone (DZ) if missed.

Vic Invitational update:
If we stay under 144 players, we will omit Patriot Park and stay at Riverside and Foxs Bend for the event.
Players would alternate Riverside and Fox on Sat shotgun start, then all players would play Riverside on tee times Sunday.
This allows us to focus all our resources on those two courses and provide a better experience for the players.
Still plenty of room for the Dec 3-4 event !!
