Saturday June 5 3-round C-tier Event powered by Innova disc golf
Tournament directors Bruce Hilty, Jordan Hall, Eric Huber, Derrick Holzhausen
$45 for open. At least 85% payout for open. $35 for AM. $25 for Female and $1 Junior divisions. 5 spots so far open for youth at $1 and working to get more sponsors .
Tentative Schedule
10 am players meeting in Douglas Wyoming (13 holes, 9 plus 4 temp holes playing back to hole 1)
1230 pm players meeting in Guernsey Wyoming (14 holes, 7 hole modified on 9 hole course 2 times)
3 pm players meeting in Wheatland Wyoming (18 holes)
Players party in Wheatland. CTP, throw off, prizes, Awards, Giveaways, Ring of fire, and possibly Putt-Putt to follow. Possibly doubles or glow if we get done early enough and interest?
Goals for event: Make the event as awesome as we can for all the participants. Grow disc golf in communities around WY. We are working to get more sponsors for the event. Already have $150 worth of gift cards to local businesses to give away during the event. Show our appreciation to these communities Also have 5 spots for youth to do the event for $1 plus pdga fee with full players' pack. Hoping to grow junior opportunities, however we understand that with this event being in three locations it is a challenge for juniors and parents. Female competitors also will receive 150% of entry in disc golf merchandise.
This is a Tour of Wyoming Series event and will count toward qualifing for the Tour of Wyoming Championship Oct 8
