About this tournament
The Throwdown at Thornfield, a disc golf tournament benefitting Heartland Student Ministries, will be epic! Sign up now for an exciting day of camaraderie, skillful throws, and great memories for participants of all skill levels! All proceeds raised in this tournament will support funding our camps and retreats, enriching the lives of our students and fostering their spiritual growth.
Date: Saturday, 9/30
Time: 9 AM - 2 PM
Location: Thornfield Disc Golf Course
Entry Fee: Doubles format. Adult fee = $30. Student fee = $15.
Entry fees include 1 round of disc golf, a tournament edition disc and lunch.
(No refunds, event runs rain or shine, unless there is severe weather.)
Whether you're an enthusiastic novice or a disc golf savant, we have something extraordinary in store for you! The tournament will follow a doubles format, meaning beginners can pair up with experienced players, forming a fantastic blend of skills and sportsmanship. Together, we'll navigate an incredible course on a piece of land belonging to the Kansas Land Trust in the woodlands of south Overland Park. It is a world-championship private course right here in Johnson County, and we are bringing you access! Prepare to be challenged and awed!
