I think a lot that is just people not being rated/pdaga member in general. There were a lot more club type events rather than pdga events it may have not been worth joining to some. With Smokin Aces 8 pdga events and the st louis/st charles club's pdga tournaments there will be quite a few results to build a rating and force some players to move divisions. It also makes it worth joing pdga since the membership pays for itself after 5 pdga events. I think the TD would have offered a novice division if there was more interest. You need at least 3 or 4 players to have one, its just easier i'd imagine. Most novices just hang out in rec and try to battle with better players, learning and moving up.
