We are now just 4 days away from the 8th annual Classic and your TD's have a boatload of logistical information to share with you. Even if you've been to the Classic in the past, please read or at least skim the whole thing to make sure you don't miss anything.

Most Importantly: Check-in and Players Meeting on Friday night from 5pm - 7:30pm! Pick up all of your gear/swag and kick off the weekend before heading out to our RIDICULOUS glow courses!

ADOPT A GLOW-HOLE CONTEST (Holes 10-18 short tees)

With the Storrs Pond Classic making its triumphant (official) return in 2021, your TD’s are excited to be expanding the official glow course to 18 holes (plus an additional 9-hole glow mini course)! The original Storrs glow layout you have all come to know and love will be set up as usual, beginning with the butt-clenching hole 1 shot over the pond and weaving its way to hole 9 down the ski jump. After the original 9-hole glow layout we will be utilizing the short tees on holes 10-18 to complete the new 18-hole course. For those of you who joined us last year for the unofficial Classic, you know that throwing through the woods at night is both fun and freaky, and this year we are hoping to really kick it up a notch with your help! Here are the details:

We are looking for campsites to adopt one glow hole (holes 10-18 short tees only). What does this mean? It means you glow the shit out of it however you see fit!!! A million glowsticks/glow rope/glow whatever on the baskets, teepads, trees, paths…??? Fantastic!!! Glow in the dark gnomes…??? Even better. As long as it glows it goes - the weirder and more creative, the better! We really want those woods to have an outer space/underground geodesic dome/Terrence McKenna sort of a feel. So have at it you disc freaks and weirdos.

Other details: The contest is technically for the official glow round on Saturday, but as you all know glow kicks off Friday night so having your adopted hole all prettied up both nights is highly encouraged (and the winner will almost certainly have decorated their hole both nights).

We will still have two of our fancy LED puck lights on every single glow basket, but please add additional glow supplies of your liking to your adopted basket as well as the rest of the hole.

Prizes: Whichever campsite does the best job making their hole weird, as determined by a panel of distinguished judges (Spence, Dan, and Cool Rob), will win a fabulous prize package which will include alcohol , cash, and probably other stuff.

How to adopt a hole: reply all to this email with your campsite # and what hole (10-18 only) you want to adopt. First come, first served! Let’s GLOW!!!
