Was there a change in divisions? I swear there was no MP50 before (why I signed up for MP40 reluctantly), and now there is. Am I mistaken? Is there any chance I can be moved to MP50 out of MP40, therefore? Thanks for considering. Can’t wait to play either way.

Hi Aric! We did add an MP50 division. I switched you to it :)

Aric Duktig   August 5, 2023 at 1:15am

Thank you Sir

Is the course cart friendly? Or backpack recommended?

Very cart friendly :)

When will the caddy book be available so that we know what the layout is going to be before the tournament?

Chris Hughes   July 30, 2023 at 8:04pm

I'll be sending the caddy book out tomorrow :)

Just registered for MA2, and noticed I'm on the waitlist. Will I be able to be added as there are now more than 18 holes/no others on the waitlist?

Chris Hughes   July 29, 2023 at 12:21am

So there are 21 holes, 5 players per hole. Which equals 105 players. You actually are going to get added right now because someone is dropping! :)

Michael Babb    July 24, 2023 at 1:44pm

Is there currently a waitlist? I don't see one on the players tab but I do see it is full. Just wondering thinking about trying to get in.

Chris Hughes   July 24, 2023 at 5:11pm

There is currently no waitlist. Originally, the course was only 18 holes, but we added 3 more allowing for more players.

Michael Babb   July 24, 2023 at 5:38pm

I see well I went ahead and registered hopefully something opens up. I appreciate the quick response!

Cliff Macfarlane    July 7, 2023 at 3:58am

Curious if the divisions will be expanded for even cards and if not, is waitlist based on players in your division dropping out, or your placement on the waitlist? Thanks!

Hey Cliff! So your place in the overall wait-list is going to determine when you get added. That said...there's a very good chance I'll be opening up a few more slots in the near future. Just need to nail down a few more logistical details.

Cliff Macfarlane   July 8, 2023 at 11:35pm

Appreciate the follow up and the recent card expansions! Unfortunately I’ve gotta back out, broke my collarbone last night on an mtb crash, won’t be having much disc in my future for a bit. I was really looking forward to this, hope it’s an awesome tournament!

Chris Hughes   July 9, 2023 at 12:17am

Dang! I'm so sorry to hear that! I wish you a speedy recovery, Cliff!

Yo, Chris - I'm not going to be able to make it this year but wondered if I could still support the cause and purchase a piece of swag or two. Let me know

Chris Hughes   June 15, 2023 at 3:37am

Yessir! I can do that for you

Chris Hughes   June 15, 2023 at 3:39am

Done

Matt Marquess    June 15, 2023 at 2:40am

Any idea what the layout will be like Chris?

Chris Hughes   June 15, 2023 at 2:52am

Tough to describe unless you played last year's tournament. This year we will have 2 full 18 hole layouts. One for each round. We are going to utilize the multiple teepads more this year :)

Christian Brockmann    May 23, 2023 at 7:58am

Hey Y'all! Not sure if you guys know it or not, but the Annual Whine County Classic in Napa at Skyline is actually the exact same weekend 8/5-8/6. That said, I had wanted to sign up and play for sure, as I really love your track out there, but as I am already playing the other, it will otherwise be keeping me from attending. With that in mind, would you ever possibly reconsider the dates, and or move things up sooner or back at all? I have a feeling you would certainly get more attendance if so, including myself. Please kindly advise ASAP. Thanks y'all!!

Hey Christian! Yeah, we were aware of the Wine country classic when we set this tournament up. Even talked with the PDGA NorCal coordinator and he agreed that a Napa tournament won't affect our attendance all that much. This is the best time for our tournament, and one of the only times that wo ... more

Christian Brockmann   May 30, 2023 at 5:37pm

No worries at all Chris. I just wasn't sure if you guys were aware. Totally appreciate you and what your doing for the sport, as well as your great course out there. Sad to have to miss it this year, but will look at it for next year. Best of luck!

Chris Hughes   May 31, 2023 at 4:53pm

I wish there was a way to "like" comments on DGS. But considered your comment "super liked"! Appreciate it, Christian! Have fun in Napa this year :D

Nick Ferchau    May 18, 2023 at 2:34am

Hi Chris,
Is it possible to sponsor a hole and play, or just sponsor a hole now and then hope to get in later when general registration opens up?

Chris Hughes   May 18, 2023 at 3:57am

Of course! Should've made that more clear. The option to just sponsor a hole is really there to make it easier for outside donors who don't want to play. Tee sign sponsors who want to play can sign up now!
