The 2024 Sierra Nevada Powdermill Open driven by Innova is a three day PDGA B-Tier and a NEFA points series tee times event. In order to compete in this years event, per the PDGA rules, ALL players must be current PDGA members to compete in a B Tier.

Day 2 NEDGC Spoonwood Southwick, MA
Day 3 Tower Ridge Simsbury, CT
This event takes place on three separate privately owned pay-to play courses and $32 of each entry fee will be taken off the top for the following expenses. $24 to cover greens fees for all three courses, $3 for the PDGA(B-Tier)fee, $2 NEFA sanctioning fee and $3 PDGA approved TD fee to cover tournament expenses.
For the Amateurs competing in the event, this is what the PDGA calls a “true amateur event.” All AM players will receive a players pack valued at a minimum of 125% of the buy in(minus above fees).
For the Professionals competing in the event, it’s business as usual. All PRO players will be competing for the $70 per player(entry fee minus above expenses) plus each division’s share of at least $750 added cash.
(All PRO payouts will be sent via PayPal within 48 hrs of event finishing)
Check in::
Check in will open at 7:15 and all players must check in no less than 15 minutes before their tee time or be considered a no show for the event. Any player who has not checked in with the TD prior to their tee time, will not be allowed to participate in this event.
Tee Times:
Players must be at the first tee for the entirety of the 5 minutes before their tee time or will incur a two-stroke penalty.
Layouts for each division as follows:
Day 1: ALL divisions will be playing WHITE tees at Allen Tree Farm.
DAY 2: MPO will be playing WHITE tees. ALL other divisions will be playing RED tees at Spoonwood Ridge.
Day 3: MPO will be playing BLUE tees. ALL other divisions will be playing WHITE tees at Tower Ridge
There is a $5 optional ace pot. If no aces are hit during this event the ace pot will carry over to the next Dark Hollow event and so on until someone gets a big payout. The next event will be the 3nd annual New England Polecat Challenge.
Scoring:
NEW FOR 2024: ALL players MUST keep score for all players on their card for the entire card during the round AND submit a scorecard at the completion of their round. Anyone that does not officially submit a scorecard within 30 minutes of their round finishing will be assessed a two-stroke penalty.
Scorecards may be paper (available at tournament central) or digital through the PDGA live scoring app. UDisc scorecards are NOT an acceptable form of scoring for this event.
Any divisions with no entries by Aug 1st will be removed to give adequate time to create trophies.
