The Peter Green Fall Fundraiser
About this tournament
Peter Green Fall Fundraiser is a flex start, 2 round 10 hole putter tournament at the historic Trimborn Farm in Greendale Wisconsin presented by Midy Disc Golf, Terry Miller (The Disc Golf Guy), and Happy To Be Here!
This event will feature multiple disc golf vendors, beverages, and the Twisted Plants food truck.
The event is a Fundraiser for local golfer, Peter Green. All proceeds will go directly to his fight against cancer.
On August 25, 2022, our dear friend Peter Green was diagnosed with stage 4, non-Hodgkin's Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma, an aggressively spreading cancer of the lymphatic system. The average age of this cancer is 64 and Peter is healthy, athletic and just 24 years old. After months of battling severe stomach and chest pain, extreme weight loss, and numerous trips to the ER, a PET scan confirmed our worst fear; cancer that spread to his lungs and pancreas. Although rapid spreading, most Lymphoma can be cured through radiation and chemotherapy. Peter’s care team is very optimistic that Peter will be cured of cancer after chemotherapy.
The event will start at 12pm and have the format of a flex tournament. Start when convenient with a card of 3-5 players per round. If you do not have a group, no worries! This event is a great way to meet new friends and connect with the local disc golf scene.
Each registered player will receive a player pack of equal or greater value of the registration fee.
Players are required to use putter discs for both rounds (3 speed and under). Work those putters!!
ACE POOL
Ace pool is only for the signature island hole 10. If no one is able to ace, the ace pool proceeds will be added to the fundraiser!
We encourage friends and families to join us for the festivities regardless if competing in the tournament.
