Thanks so much for everyone who came out to the 2nd event of the 2019 Disc Baron series! Big thanks to Mark and the Black Ace Club for putting on a great event and I hope everyone had a couple rounds of fun golf!

Any certificates that were not redeemed on site yesterday have been actives in the website and are ready for use. Please remember that with this being a MDGO feature Event, all payouts must be used on Discraft products. If you have any issues trying to redeem the certificate or have any questions, please contact Disc Baron through disc golf scene or at [email redacted].

Event #3 and #4 will be held back to back next weekend with the AJ Open on Saturday and the Freedom Memorial on Sunday. Check out the disc golf scene below for more details on each event, as well as details for the 2019 Disc Baron Series.

Discraft Disc Golf Presents The Patriot on May 18 & 19 will be your local stop at the 2019 Disc Baron Series held at Holly Woods. Previously, it was a part of the JBird Series.

What does all of this mean??

1. 2018 was the last year of the JBird Series. We were glad to be a part of it for the last years that the long running series was still around. We thank them for our inclusion.

2. Disc Baron has created a new statewide tour and asked us to be a part of it. We gladly accepted. Here are the series rules if you wanted to compete for an overall championship. https://www.discgolfscene.com/series/36036/2019-disc-baron-series

3. Disc Baron will have some merchandise at the event HOWEVER, you can get the bulk or entirety of your payouts from their huge online store and have it shipped directly to your house. Their wide range of discs will ensure you can find the weight and color that you have been looking for!

4. Disc Baron has also arranged some great sponsors to be a part of the series as well so there will be extra things at each event such as a ZÜCA, Inc. cart or Zanfel Laboratories.

5. In addition to being a Discraft Michigan State Championships, a United State Amateur Disc Golf Championships (MA1 Only), we are now also a qualifier for the Autumn Amateur Championships! The AAC is an invitation only PDGA B tier that plays on Bluegill and Black Flacon.

6. We are still running same caliber of event just being part of a new series with more options and fun than before!
