Thank you for your interest in the 4th annual Orange Township Open, the event that birthed the Olentangy Disc Club. Since last year, we have designed an 18 hole course down the road from the Orange Hall of Aces @ Little Bear Golf Club & we are excited to have the 2nd round there for the 1st time.
While Orange is more of a pitch & putt course, Little Bear has a a good mix of bomber & technical holes. There are 3 huge ponds, so prepare your bag accordingly.
Little Bear Golf Club is a unique small, 11 hole ball golf course with artificial ball golf greens & tees. The club has an amazing pavilion with a large concrete patio that overlooks a one of kind island hole. They have a bar & grill (with sanctioned PDGA events, you do need to finish any alcoholic beverages before the official rated round starts) so cold adult beverages will be available. No outside food or beverage is allowed @ the Club. Little Bear's main function is that of a wedding/party venue, check it out @ https://www.littlebearohio.com
LAYOUTS: We will play the Main Smart Lay Out on UDisc @ Little Bear (note that this lay out implements the 10 turf golf tees. There are many holes where the basket you likely 1st see from the tee is not the basket for the hole. so be sure to double check.
@ Orange, we will be playing the Classic 18 Main (Tees then Alt L). Note that hole #1 has been moved by the township, there are new long locations on UDisc that will be marked with the original Orange Paver Tee Stones by Friday Nov 10th.
As with all ODC events, we will have a generous player's pack for Ams & pay outs can be done on site or can be redeemed later @ Disc Golf Mart, Play It Again Sports (Westerville or Reynoldsburg) or Slick Willy's Disc Golf in Delaware County.
