About this tournament
The NOFA (No One Fights Alone) Disc Golf Classic is a fundraiser disc golf tournament to help support Ed Haynes, my uncle. He was recently diagnosed with stage 3 esophageal cancer and funds raised through this tournament will go towards his medical expenses as well as Hospice Care.
FORMAT:
PDGA XC-Tier Doubles tournament at Handyman Ace Hardware Disc Golf Course in Fairborn, OH
One round of doubles from the short tees at HAH
Lunch will be provided afterwards for those interested. Lunch will consist of hot dogs, chips, soda and whatever else we can provide. It is asked that if you do plan on having lunch that you make a $5 donation. During Lunch, Raffle, CTP Throw off and other games will be played to celebrate the event.
RAFFLE:
During lunch, we will be hosting a raffle to help support my uncle's medical expenses. All prizes will be donated and 100% of the proceeds will go towards the fundraiser. More information on prizes to come, but all donations are very much appreciated, disc golf related or not. REGISTRATION:
Registration will be on Disc Golf Scene (link to come soon), but day of registration will also be permitted. If you want to pay day of but want on the list now, let Bobby Hughes know.
$15 per person ($30 per team) to buy in- 5$ goes towards the fundraiser, 10$ goes towards payout.
$5 Optional Ace Fund- 50% will go towards the fundraiser, 50% will go towards the payout for aces. If no ace is hit, there will be a CTP throw off for the ace pot.
$5 for 3 Mulligans per player- 100% towards fundraiser
NO NON-PDGA FEE! ALL ARE WELCOME!
DIVISIONS:
Three teams are required to make a division (except juniors). If you want a division added, let me know.
PAYOUT:
More details to come. Pro divisions will be cash payout from $10 of all entry fees. Am payout will either be cash, vendor, or raffle ticket based once interest is gauged.
