Hey Mesmerize people. Registration closed last night at 8 pm. I have had a few people today inform me they have to drop. Pretty hard to make adjustments so late in this game, but life happens that way sometime. We are currently looking for one MP50, and 2 MP40 players so those dropping can be refunded. Please reach out to players you know and send them my way. I would like to keep the integrity of the tourney as it was set at the close of registration, and I don’t want to saddle play ... more

I have set the board a few times in recent days and we keep getting drops and therefore some waitlisted folks have been added. Reg closes at 8 pm tonight and I will post hole assignments tomorrow after I confirm there are no more changes. I believe everyone including recently added players from the waitlist have received the caddy book. If you have not received it please send me a message and I will get it to you.

If you want a more detailed layout for this weekends Mesmerize Tournament here is a walk through video of the layout. Based on the caddy book the only hole with a different basket is hole 21. Enjoy!

Jeffrey McCormick   March 29, 2023 at 9:47pm

Sounds good. I'll get on it.

Completed Eric. :)

Please don’t use red paint to mark OB or drop zones. The red y’all use is invisible to me and my fellow huckers with color disability.

Yeah. Because you and the rest of your cards going to be color blind.

Derek Kirmil   March 29, 2023 at 8:25pm

Invisible OB lines would definitely make the course harder haha. What color would work better for color blind folks?

Will division caps be removed as the tournament draws nearer? Wondering if its worth it to get on the waitlist for MA2. Thanks

Amature Divisions are capped at 100. We are at 97/100 right now. So, there has to be players drop at this point to come off the waitlist. I am hopefull that the last 3 spots will be grabbed by women in Advanced. I did just have a player drop MA2 yesterday, but right now there are spots in MPO, a ... more

Welcome disc golfers to the Mesmerize presented by Legacy Discs 2023! We are excited about this year’s event! Freddy Rodriguez led the Silicon Valley Disc Golf Club in building cement tee pads, including new short and in some cases long tees for the course. We have also made the 3 new holes permanent and updated the hole numbering from 1-21. Our title sponsor Legacy Discs is setting us up with great stuff for the AM player package, and this year Leonard Muise will bring his Whirlwind D ... more

Eric Stachnick   March 21, 2023 at 12:30am

Dogs are not allowed.

Has the decision been made on what time the pools will be playing on each day?

Eric Stachnick   March 14, 2023 at 10:40pm

Sending out a letter soon (expect it midweek)

Matthew Freiberg   March 14, 2023 at 11:32pm

Any way to post it here for folks that are not registered, but on the fence?

Jeffrey McCormick    February 15, 2023 at 7:55am

Anyway to put ourselves in the waitlist by paying a $10 holder fee instead of full registration?

No

Eric Stachnick   February 28, 2023 at 3:42pm

If you do not get into the tourney, you will be refunded.

What's the minimum rating for MA2?

Eric Stachnick   February 9, 2023 at 2:30am

there is no minimum rating for MA2. The PDGA has suggested maximum ratings for divisions but since MA2 is for newer tournament players, some may not have a rating.

Eric Stachnick   February 9, 2023 at 2:33am

here is the page that shows where to expect to play based on ratings... they say if you are higher than 935 you should play AM1. https://www.pdga.com/files/2023_player_division_grid_-table_5_divisions_etc._v6.pdf

I’m not able to register MPO 980+ as there is not a “no” option for hole sponsorship

The weebly page is a bit outdated . https://mesmerizeatkelleypark.weebly.com/

I see MA60 but no signup time. I assume same day as MA40 and MA50.

Thanks for catching the MA60 reg. It is updated, and yes, same time as MA40 and MA50. As for the update on the website, yes, this years info will be updated soon. Until then, enjoy the history of the event.
