Tournament will be two Red rounds of 18 holes with a 1 hour lunch break in between rounds. We will be utilizing the Burns Park Facilities and tournament central will be at the pavilion between the rocket slide playground and the hole 1 tee pad of Red. We have partnered with Innova, GRIPeq and 13 Peaks Trading to provide a fun filled event.



Player Pack Disc: All amateur division players will receive a tournament stamped disc. Discs will be reserved during registration and are limited. First 40 will have pick of specific mold, everyone after will get tournament stamped disc, but mold selection will based on supply and random. We have an assortment of champion glow plastic: Eagle, Teebird, Firebird, and Roc3. Additionally Halo Xcals and Orcs, Champ Metal Flake Glow Chargers, and Color Glow XDs. We will have extra discs, reach out if you want anything. There are some pictures here on DGS.



Tournament Shirts: We have a limited batch of tournament shirts. These are nice high quality dry fits but come at high cost vs some of the lower quality dry fit options. Shirts are an optional add-on at $18.50. Again, see the pictures tab here on DGS to see shirts.



CTP: We have heavy CTP action including a GRIPeq bigger bag, loads of discs and hats, towels, swag stuff which is all included to all divisions. 9+ holes will have CTP action and potential for more. Pictures and assigned hole/prize are again, in the pics section. These pictures will get turned into signs that are posted at each hole day of tournament. Special rule with CTP, you can only put your name down one time and only one time. This involves a little strategy and adds to the fun while spreading the stuff out to different players.

ACE POT: Two different ace pots in play.. There is an optional $5 ace pot available at registration. This is typical tournament ace pot, if it is not hit we will throw off in CTP fashion for a 1st and 2nd place payout.

In addition Sherwood DGA will have the club Ace Pot live for both rounds, it’s currently $457 but will change as club league events between this write-up and the tournament happen. Requirements are being a current member and flying a bag tag during round. The $1 per round will be waived, obviously it rolls if no one hits it and it still caps at 200 each ace.



Awards and Payouts: AM divisions will get gift certificates to 13 Peaks. Pro Divisions will get payout via PayPal within 24 hours. Event value on both divisions will be 125% or higher guaranteed and will approach 150% if we fill.



Schedule:

8:00 - Check in opens at the Burns Pavilion, no physical player meeting, caddy book and players meeting will be digital via email.

9:00 – Round 1 Tee off, Burns Red course

11:30 – Estimated start of 1 hour lunch, exact time based on last card complete, exact time emailed out and on SDGA Facebook group page.

12:30 – Estimated Round 2 Tee off, Burns Red course

2:45 – Estimated completion of Round 2.. Award Ceremony, 1st Place playoffs, Ace Pot

3:15 – Closing.. THANK YOU PLAYERS, and our partners 13 Peaks, Innova and GRIPeq.
