Was there a par adjustment Indy mixed ?

Gordon Merck   October 27 at 12:06am

Yes, hole 7 was supposed to be a par 4. I mistakenly put it at as a three and fixed it after the round.

greg “Chain Hunter” placides   October 27 at 12:49am

I was about to say that was the hardest par 3????

Gordon Merck    October 25 at 9:09pm

FINAL TEE TIMES HAVE BEEN POSTED!! Please check your email and your tee time, as you MAY have shifted just a little.

Tee times have not been set yet. Once they are set you should be good. Also it is all caps.

Quinn Finnegan   October 25 at 3:09pm

The code still isn’t working for me

Steven Peterson II   October 25 at 4:13pm

Awesome, thanks it works now!

Owen Stewart    October 25 at 1:20pm

Just to confirm based on the caddie book; no OB right on Goliath hole #1 for MA1?

Gordon Merck   October 25 at 2:03pm

That has been updated.

Morgan Clark   October 25 at 2:51pm

Hey Gordon, also wanted to confirm the wording in the caddie books for Falling Creek Hole 20. Is the path and beyond hazard, or just the path? Also, "throw from where you like" I think needs an update in wording. Assuming no one would take advantage but I know how people are. ;) Thanks for your work for this weekend!

Gordon Merck   October 25 at 2:53pm

the like was a definitely a typo and has been fixed!! But to clarify, it is just the paved section. accross is not OB.

Gordon Merck    October 25 at 12:34pm

FINAL SCHEDULE CHANGE. Some divisions days have been switched, please look at the schedule on the DGS main page as well as your caddie book for where to report!!

We will be sticking with Tee Times starting a 9am each day. An email has been sent with the new schedule and it has also been reflected in your caddie books. Tee times will officially be posted this evening.

GOOD LUCK THIS WEEKEND EVERYONE!!

Gordon, now that the start has gone to tee times I am able to play. Any chance I could still enter today?

Gordon Merck   October 25 at 12:28pm

Yes, I will be sending out another email today. I was waiting for registration to close.

Jaren Heard    October 25 at 11:26am

Will there be any in person registration sign ups on Saturday?

Gordon Merck   October 25 at 12:28pm

I am sorry, there will not be any in person sign-ups. But if you would like to sign up please message me and let me know.

Charles Clusman   October 25 at 1:26pm

Gordon, I'd like to enter now that the event has moved to tee times as I will now be able to make the start.

Gordon Merck   October 25 at 1:28pm

Message me Charles!

Tyler Houck    October 25 at 1:21am

Any update yet on if it's gonna be shotgun or tee times?

Gordon Merck   October 25 at 3:25am

We will be doing tee times.

Cody Bradshaw    October 24 at 2:04pm

If shotgun start are we playing 3 rounds or just 2? :).

Joseph Seitz   October 24 at 3:17pm

Now that's a great point

Noah Ranck    October 24 at 12:10am

If the tournament is switched to a shotgun start, is there a way prepared to transport players out to the farther holes at New London and Goliath?

Gordon Merck   October 24 at 12:23am

Transportation to starting holes would not be given.

Noah Ranck   October 24 at 12:29am

In that case, please keep it staggered start. The walk to farther holes at those courses will be unavoidable with division sizes and very disadvantageous for anyone who has to make those walks.

jackson lozier   October 24 at 1:22am

I have to agree with Noah Goliath especially would be rough

Asher Beaudin    October 23 at 10:59pm

If the rounds get switched to a shotgun start like it was mentioned in the email, is there an estimate on when that shotgun start would actually be each day?

Gordon Merck   October 23 at 11:07pm

Earliest would be 8:30 latest would be 10am. I will be announcing start times once registration has officially closes.

Ethan Troyer    October 23 at 12:36pm

Am I reading the caddy book right, the creek on hole 4 at Independence is ob?

Gordon Merck   October 23 at 11:06pm

Yes, surrounded by water is OB at Independence.

Joel Robinette   October 23 at 11:29pm

That’s new cause usually that hole didn’t play OB in the past but I guess it makes trying to make it across more rewarding and punish being in the creek

Joseph Seitz    October 23 at 1:42am

Any players party this year?

Mike Armstrong   October 23 at 2:59pm

Sounds like Apocalypse Ale Works will have an unofficial players party Saturday Night, per their comment on Facebook.

Joseph Seitz   October 23 at 4:29pm

Gotcha, I'm trying to run back cornhole style putting tournament if that's an option...

Gordon Merck   October 23 at 11:05pm

Unfortunately there will be no official player's party this year. But Apocalypse will be welcoming any players to hang out!!

Gordon Merck    October 22 at 5:27pm

For those wanting to practice at Goliath. The course will be open this week for practice. Please drive slow on Perennial Lane getting to the course. Also, if you see anyone working on the course, please be courteous and not throw toward them. Thank you!!

Noah Ranck   October 23 at 7:45pm

I also kind of feel Owen's concern.

Gordon Merck   October 23 at 11:14pm

The start times will be officially announced once registration closes. I will do my best to make sure that no players have to walk too far for their starting hole.

Joseph Seitz   October 24 at 12:42pm

I'm a bit confused as to why a shotgun start would be preferred to tee times for a larger field. Normally, tee times can accommodate more players more easily. Assuming an MA1/FA1 field of 64 players in total, with 10 minutes between cards, and starting at 9:00 AM all tee times should be done before 12:00.

Max Stayton    October 21 at 4:14pm

Is Goliath open to play for practice on Friday 9/25?

Josh D'Antoni    October 17 at 7:12pm

Hey Gordon! Regarding the email and new layouts for MA2. I saw on Udisc that Falling Creek had a mixed layout labeled for the tournament. Independence has 2 mixed layouts on Udisc. Was one of those going to be used or will you add a new one that the caddy book will reflect? Looking to practice at Independence this coming Sat. Appreciate your help!

Ryan Thoms   October 17 at 10:44pm

Also planned on practicing tomorrow and was wondering the same thing

Gordon Merck    October 17 at 2:13pm

SCHEDULE CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE. Due to size of fields, we have decided to shift some of the courses and layouts around. These will be the final layouts for the tournament. An email has also been sent to the email you used for DGS signup.

Caddy Books will be sent this weekend with OB and rulings.
