The Jungle VI Redeployment - Pros
About this tournament
This is an overflow event scheduled specifically to accommodate players waitlisted for the Welcome to the Jungle VI tournament on the same day. It is initially open ONLY to those players. As the event gets closer, we may be in a position to open this to the general public if space allows.
This will be a PDGA C-Tier and NEFA Points event. All amateur divisions will play on Saturday. Pros will play on Sunday.
Due to Covid, there will be no lunch vendor this time around. Players should plan to bring a lunch and not congregate to minimize contact as well as speed the turnaround time.
We will make use of the PDGA live scoring. Cards will shuffle between rounds one and two based on place. An announcement will be made by email and on the tournament FB page to indicate round 2 start time. Hole assignments will be updated on the PDGA tournament site.
Pros will play for $$ - payouts will be done via PayPal after the event. Due to Covid, there will be no awards ceremony and no trophies.
There will be an optional ace pot in play. Prior to the tournament, a raffle will be drawn and one player will be selected as the "winner" of the ace pot. If no ace is hit, that player will win 1/2 the ace pot. The other 1/2 will go to the course fund for future projects. Due to Covid, there won't be a throw off to minimize congregation.
