The Invitational at Arrowhead Country Club
Are you ready to experience some disc golf action on one of the nicest golf courses in the Myrtle Beach area? We are!
TTP Events & Disc Golf Artistry has partnered with Arrowhead Country Club to deliver a temporary 18-hole disc golf layout for all to come and experience. This beautiful property features perfect grass fairways and some gorgeous views of the Intercoastal Waterway. The layout will not be your typical tee to green ball golf hybrid disc golf layout. We will be utilizing the best features of the terrain and working the disc golf course throughout the property to utilize the trees and other natural features.
This PDGA XC-Tier sanctioned doubles event will feature two 18-hole rounds of best-disc doubles using a tee time start for the field on both Round One & Round Two. There will be time for a break in between rounds and your afternoon tee time will follow.
The Amateur teams will receive a USDGC Doubles Disc from Innova and team prize payouts will be redeemable at the on-site TTP Disc Golf store. This event will be a USDGC Doubles event Qualifier: the Top 3 teams will receive invitations to compete in the main event in Rock Hill, SC on the legendary Winthrop Gold layout along with the gorgeous Camp Canaan Riverbend Gold course.
Pros will be strictly cash prize payouts.
Golf carts will NOT be available for play during the tournament unfortunately, but they will be available to use during the weekday rounds for a $15 fee. A regular walking round during the week will be $5
Being that we are being hosted by the golf course, all players MUST abide by all rules & regulations of Arrowhead Country Club. This includes the dress code which is "standard golf attire".
One of the coolest parts of this event is that we will have the course setup for play the ENTIRE WEEK prior to the weekend events! During the week disc golfers will be able to play the course just like a regular golf course by calling the golf shop at Arrowhead CC and booking a tee time for yourself. Walking will be $5 for a round, and taking a cart will be $15! We are so excited to bring this course to life for all to enjoy throughout the week.
