About this tournament
The P.S.I. is an INVITE ONLY, 2-day PDGA Sanctioned, B-Tier, Disc Golf Event with ADDED CASH! $$$!
This event consists of 27 holes per day, with a “Bring your own Partner Doubles†preceding the singles stroke play competition. Other activities include: Camping, Fishing, Catered Meals, Raffles, Putting Contests, "Ring of Fire" Style Give-a-ways, Players Party, and much more!
The Field of Competitors is determined by “The Phenom Power Index†(The P.P.I.). 92 Open Male Professionals, and 16 Open Female Professionals, who apply to The P.P.I., will battle it out to be crowned champions, in their respected divisions, and become the first ever P.S.I. PHENOM and SHE-NOM!
Once the players list has been officially announced and you have been selected via the P.P.I ranking, please acknowledge this unique opportunity as an exclusive honor by promptly registering for the event! Many of the players on the list are some pretty big names, and they represent the class, integrity, and direction the sport of disc golf is rapidly headed.
Please note that this tournament is not a NorCal Series Points Event due the fact that it has an unusual “open division†format that only includes invited players that will compete in the middle of the week between the Motherlode Pro and the Masters Cup Pro. Instead, NorCal Series staff was kind enough to post it on their calendar to help create awareness because this event rekindles the old “Triple Nuggetâ€, which has been absent for nearly 10 years.
So register quickly if you qualified, and come out to spectate if you did not.
Important…the Tournament Director and the venue's Host and Hostess, would like to welcome "EVERYONE" to come out, spectate and enjoy this fun event. The tournament and field events are to be 100 percent spectator friendly! It should be further noted that PROFESSIONALISM is extremely important, and it will be upheld throughout the entirety of the event! Thank you for your understanding and compliance.
