Is the total number of possible participants going to be increased to the standard 72 or is there something preventing that?

At this point no. Since this is the first tournament there are a lot of unknowns with speed of play, parking, etc etc. There will be more tournaments there. If Fran decides to have it opened that will be his decision.

The reg page is set up for players to make the change themselves without the need of the TD's
