About this tournament

The ;IGY6 Charity Open at Georgia Veterans State Park will be Saturday, February 18th, 2017. It will be a unique fundraiser event sanctioned by the PDGA, and has been approved for the PDGA Competition Endowment Program.

All players will be provided lunch, and tickets to our various raffles that will feature gifts that have been donated to the event to assist in raising money for our charity beneficiaries.

Players will be assigned divisions based on the PDGA rating update scheduled to be published on January 24, 2017. If you are not a PDGA member or are a PDGA member without a rating please contact the Tournament Director. All Professional Players may register and play in the Gold Division. All others MUST play within their division.

There is a $5 per CAR gate fee for those without a State Park pass. So plan to bring a car full of players.

For 2016, this event will benefit:
Military with PTSD, Inc. a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping military and veteran families understand each other and see it from both sides. (http://www.militarywithptsd.org/)
AND
The IGY6 Foundation, an online resource for veterans, active duty, and first-responders, and family members seeking help dealing with Post-Traumatic Stress and those contemplating suicide. IGY6 is here for those seeking a support system from people who have "Been there done that". (http://igy6foundation.com/)

What will be donated to these charities?
- All Player Fees $2, with TD matching these fees $2
- All Non-Current PDGA Member Fees $10
- All Sponsor Donations 100%
- All money from Dog Tag/Sticker/Ring set purchase 100%
- A minimum of 25% of the net entry fees must also be donated to event charity.
- Raffle Revenue 100%

To be transparent - AM side the PDGA takes nothing besides $50 fee for insurance coverage. TD makes nothing, zero zilch. Everything goes to players or charity. ABOUT A 50/50 split via merch. There will be a way for a player to donate all to charity by choice. Same on the pro side!

Let's raise as much money as we can!
