About this tournament
Welcome! We hope you are excited for the 2023 PEI Canadian Women’s Event - the inaugural CWE!
Created to fill the gap year between PDGA Women’s Global Events (WGE), the CWE is a grassroots event organized by women disc golfers across Canada to encourage women to get out and play. Similar to the WGE, participants will play two disc golf rounds at their local CWE and, once the numbers are tallied, will be able to see how their scores compare to the other participants across the country!
Please join us at Huck It on June 10th for one of the best combinations in PEI: Disc Golf, Handpies and High Fives!
Players of all ages and disc golf experience are welcome and encouraged!
Registration
Online DiscGolfScene registration opens March 8, 2023 at 8pm AST.
Cost: $30 adult divisions; $20 junior divisions
Registration includes PDGA fees, course fees, and your players’ pack - featuring a fresh mini sweet handpie (HUGE thanks to The Handpie Co.).
NOTE: The first 25 players registered will receive a 2023 Canadian Women's Event players pack in addition to our locally sourced pack. All other players will receive only the locally sourced pack - Handpie included!
As always, early registration is appreciated!

All Female divisions will be offered at this event, including
FP divisions for Professional Players
FA divisions for Amateur Players
FJ divisions for Junior Players

New to Disc Golf?
We understand it might be a little scary or intimidating to attend a disc golf tournament if you’ve never played before or don’t know anyone in the community. For that reason, we have some things in mind to help people get to know the game (and each other!) ahead of the tournament.

The PEI Women’s Disc Golf scene is very lucky to be part of a supportive and open community. Every disc golf event requires volunteers in order to be a success, and the male disc golf players in PEI consistently step up to fill those roles for women’s events so we can get out and enjoy playing.
