The HCO is back in its 9th year the HCO will again be a two day, three round event complete with multiple courses and tee times on sunday! the players told us they loved the format from last year, so we are mirroring that, in order to do so we had to move to october. courses will be beautiful and weather will be less miserable :)

this event is all pre registration, no day of walk ups!
we will use PDGA online scoring, and updates to the leaderboard, tee times, and information are instant and will be posted on the event page and emailed to all players. the players meeting will be in caddy book form as usual and will be published online with a virtual players meeting to answer any questions.

player caps are set from last years numbers, HDGU will assess registration and move people into open spots as they deem necessary. if your division is full, get on the waitlist asap as spots will be opened in specific divisions based on the waitlist and pool status.

we will split into two pools to accommodate all players getting to both play the new fall creek setup as well as traditional hazel landing park. we can accomodate at least 160 players but will not sacrifice experience just to jam more people on the course. this is why the cap is set below 160 so we can balance cards and try to avoid large cards. the additional spots will be opened at TD discretion.

if your division is full, please still sign up. spots will continue to be reallocated every week if they do not fill, in order to get people off the waitlist for specific divisions. please be patient with this, we will do our best to get people the opportunity to play. but if you dont sign up early with everyone else, its on you, not the staff, if you dont get in.

your division must have 4 players in order to be offered. if your division does not reach 4 its the TDs discretion to offer you entry to another division. women's and juniors divisions will not be moved or combined.

CHAMPIONSHIP POOL
MPO, FPO, all MPM and FA1/MA1 will play the championship pool which consists of a new fall creek championship 18 hole layout that combines some of the original holes and utilizes some of the new 9 long tees. it also will have the traditional gold tee championship layout at hazel once saturday with two temp holes and with tee times at Hazel gold 18 layout on Sunday!

all FPM, am masters female and mixed, MA2/3/4 FA2/3/4 and junior consisting of Hazel landing 18, then fall creek 27 shorts on saturday, and Dilion park tee times on Sunday.

tee and pin layouts will be posted at least 3 weeks out with a warm up weekend and any flex events TBD.

the plan is to have juniors play just round one on saturday and round 1 on sunday and be paid out immediately following round 2. if you have a junior interested in playing please email me and we will arrange the best scenario. if that means just one round, we can arrange that. juniors will play hazel sat morning, and dillon sunday morning. No fall creek round two sat.

payouts will occur at your finishing course on site, when the division is complete and all online scoring is verified. pros will be paid out via paypal. you will be paid via the address you register with. if you need to make other arrangements please let the TD know

ace fund on tee time round will be tied to a ctp. if no ace is hit, the CTP then claims the ace fund. this way all players dont have to stay for the throwoff. if an ace is hit, that CTP will pay out a prize package instead.
