Welcome friends, the inaugural Greater Toledo Bring Your Own Partner tournament is here!
This event will be a 1 day / 2 round doubles tournament. You will play 2 tee timed rounds at Vienna Park.
AMATEUR PAYOUT - DiscCo Disc Golf Supply located at 8023 Summerfield Rd, Lambertville MI is where you will receive your tournament payout. ALL amateur divisions will be paid out in merchandise from DiscCo.
Top 33% of each AM division will be paid out.
PRO PAYOUT - ALL Pro divisions are playing for straight up cheddar cheese baby, cash payouts for Pros will be done via PAYPAL ONLY, no cash will be kept on any course for safety reasons.
Top 25% of each Pro division will be paid out.
PLAYER PACKS - This being the first year of this event, there will unfortunately be no players packs for the event. I understand this is kind of a bummer but we hope to improve on that in the future, this year we would just like to see how the event goes that way we can obtain sponsors for next year!
RULES - Standard Alternate Shot Doubles rules, meaning both you and your partner will throw a tee shot, then decide who’s shot is better and then you will both throw from the decided on shot.
IF YOU ARE PLAYING A MIXED DIVISION - The 8/8 rule is in effect, this rule essentially states you must take 8 shots of each competitor minimum during each round. This rule is standard in PDGA mixed doubles so we will follow that for this event aswell.
LAYOUTS - Pro Teams and Advanced Teams will play Longs all day.
Intermediate (MA2) Teams will play Longs round 1, and shorts round 2.
All other divisions will play shorts all day.
