The Freedom Memorial presented by Essential Discs event will be held on Monday, May 30th at Earl W Brewer park in Grand Rapids, MI. The tournament will include 2 rounds of 18 holes of play, 1 round on each course at the park.

Registration:

In honor of Memorial Day, any active duty personnel or veterans will receive 1/2 off their entry fees

1) Paid registration online or At Disc Baron (4485 Plainfield Ave NE Ste 101B, Grand Rapids, MI 49525) - Credit/debit cards can be used to pay for the tournament but a 5% processing fee will be added.
2) Day of the event for an additional $5 fee


Format:

2 rounds of 18 holes singles


Ace Pool & 50/50 -

$3 Ace Pool & $2 50/20 will be available entry

Divisions:

I can add any division by requested if it is not listed. There must be at least 3 participants to make a division. You can register for any division but if that division does not have enough participants to qualify, you will need to move to a qualifying division prior to play and additional fees may be required or refunded if the registration fees differ. Womens and Juniors divisions do not need to meet the minimum***


Prizes:

Disc Baron, Innova, Dynamic Discs, Gateway Discs, Prodigy Discs, MVP Discs, Bryce Balcer with Icon Realty, Grand Rapids Dogs of Discs, Fallasburg Winter League and Lumberjack Discs will be providing prizes on most holes for all divisions, including CTPs and LPs. All winners of any CTP or LP will receive a raffle ticket to win an Innova Heropack Backpack. In total 3 bags will be given away and only those who win a raffle ticket through a CTP or LP will qualify to win. Participants can win multiple raffle tickets but once someone has won a backpack, they will be excluded from the ability to win a 2nd backpack if one of their tickets is drawn again. You must be present to win the backpack, but your original CTP/LP prize will still be awarded if you are unable to collect.


Payouts:

Payouts will be provided using the standard PDGA payout scale. Amateur payouts will be provided by Disc Baron in the form of coupons to Disc Baron retail or online store. Winners will have until 6/30/16 to redeem their coupons. Coupons must be used in one transaction and no change will be provided.


Lunch:

Top Butcher Shoppe & BBQ will be at the course the day of the event offering lunch ($8 Pulled Pork Meal and $9 Brisket Meal - Meal includes 2 sides and some) for sale, as well as beef & chicken jerky and smoked sausage.

Lunch break will last approximately 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes after the last group has turned in their card. 2nd round start time will be rounded to the closest 15 minutes.
