The Edmund's Park Experience *USDGC Doubles Qualifier*
About this tournament
This event will be a 2 round event.
Round 1: Captains Choice...Blue(Long) Tees
Round 2: Alternate Shot...White(Short) Tees
We will be teeing off at 1PM sharp. Second Round tee time will be 30 minutes from last card in from Round 1.
Food is within 5-7 minute drive from course.
Ties will be decided by Playoff beginning on Hole 1 and playing course sequentially until winner is decided.
When coming into Edmunds Park, please continue down paved road until reaching the large shelter on the right. We will be using this at Tournament Central.
Payout Structure:
$20 Players Pack
$5 Local Club/Course
$15 Payout(Payout Scale TBD)
Rules:
• BYOP(Bring Your Own Parnter). Medals will be provided to amateur 1st place winners.
• The number of teams that can qualify for the USDGC Doubles Main Event is based on the number of teams that participate in your qualifier. The thresholds are as follows.
Men
• 1-14 Teams = 1 Team qualifies
• 15-24 Teams = 2 Teams qualify
• 25+ Teams = 3 Teams qualify
Women
• 1-4 Teams = 1 Team qualifies
• 5-9 Teams = 2 Teams qualify
• 10+ Teams – 3 Teams qualify
Player Eligibility:
• All players must meet one of the following criteria to be eligible to compete in the USDGC Doubles Main event:
o The Player is not a PDGA member or does not have a player rating and has never accepted cash in a PDGA event.
o The player has an Amateur Player Classification with the PDGA - meaning the player is classified as an amateur and plays in amateur divisions for prizes instead of cash. If a player plays in a Pro division and accepts cash at any time, they become classified as a Professional member. An Amateur class player has either never accepted cash, or if they have, they have later met the criteria to be reclassified from Professional back to Amateur with the PDGA.
• A mixed group of pro and am-class players is not allowed.
• Players who qualify as a team must play together as a team in the main event. No substitutions, no exceptions.
• All qualified players must register online by Sunday, September 10th. No exceptions.
