About this tournament
Due to not being able to get this approved by the ODNR in a reasonable time before this event is going to happen, I have decided to cancel this tournament.Gary Charvat May 19, 2020 at 5:11pm
I'd like to register for the novice division.
I'm brand new to the game though, so if you need to get more experienced players into the field of 52, I can be bumped.

I will let self registration open on June 1, just in case anything changes in the next couple of weeks. Those of you who have been added manually will need to pay via PayPal before the tournament. No cash will be changing hands at this event.
I believe there is a way to pay without registering again, I need to look into that before the 1st.
What is the friends of punderson PayPal account name? I'd like to send my entry fee!
Garrett, Please hold off for right now. Not everything is finalized for this tournament yet.

Please put me in Open with the understanding that I'll have to look at travel restrictions prior to the event. #49688
Scott Williams May 18, 2020 at 2:23pm
Note to out of state players, this is from the PDGA FAQ on COVID-19
ARE THERE TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS BETWEEN AREAS APPROVED FOR SANCTIONING AND THOSE NOT YET APPROVED?
Any travel restriction between geographic areas is solely dependent on the government guidelines for those geographic areas. Event directors and participants must follow the directives of the local government(s) at all times.

I'm going to try and keep everyone updated as much as possible. I hope everyone understands this is a fluid situation.
Right now, first round Great White Short baskets. (Hole 1 Red, hole 2 white, 3 blue). Short baskets on 2, 9, 12 and 15.
Second Round, Tiger Long. (1 Blue, 2 red, 3 white), however I think we will NOT play the island for hole 2 in the second round, this is for time, that I will detail next.
Since this will be tee times, and the PDGA wants 15 minutes between start ...

You have just as much right to play as anyone else.
Fair. Thanks. I just don't know how it works since I saw that you had to put a limit on it.
That just anyone interested need to act sooner rather than later. We are in a lot of uncharted territory. We usually do 2 rounds with a shotgun start, but that is strictly forbidden (based on recently announced guidelines for golf courses). Tee-times with 2 rounds creates some time constraints on us, and I'm not much interested in running a two day tournament.
Maybe you know something I don't, but the wording they use is "preferred" for staggered starts. The PDGA does not say shotgun starts are strictly forbidden.
