4. Digital Scorecards
We will be using the PDGA digital scoring platform for scoring during the round in lieu of paper scorecards. At least one player from each group will need to use their smart phone to take score. For detailed information on how the PDGA digital scorecard works, please click here: https://www.pdga.com/help/tournament-management/official-hole-scoring

The ACCESS CODE for the event scoring is 4BY9. It is not case sensitive. To start your round with digital scoring you will need to go to the following link: www.pdga.com/score.

·       You will be prompted to enter the Access Code and press the Submit button.

·       Search for your name. You can search by typing in part of your name or PDGA Number. Once your name appears, you select it and confirm. This person is now the “scorekeeper”.

·       You will be prompted to select the round for which you are currently playing.

·       The scoring screen will load with your name. The default starting hole is hole 1, so be sure to choose the correct starting hole if for some reason hole 1 is not where the group is starting (e.g. shotgun start).

·       Scores for each player will be automatically defaulted to whatever the par is for the hole that is being scored. The player can use the plus or minus buttons to add or remove strokes. When all players have the correct scores, clicking Save & Continue will upload the scores and the page will automatically reload on the hole that follows.

·       The teeing order is indicated by a number presented to the left of each player's name.

Please make sure you review the link provided to familiarize yourself with the PDGA digital scorecard. As a competitor you are responsible for knowing the competition rules of disc golf for a better player experience.
IMPORTANT: You will use the same digital scorecard for rounds 1 & 2. You will use the same digital scorecard for rounds 3 & 4. Rounds 1 & 2 will be referred to as Round 1 on the digital scorecard. Rounds 3 & 4 will be referred to as Round 2 on the digital scorecard. Whoever is keeping score on your card will simply leave the scoring app on between rounds 1 & 2 and between rounds 3 & 4. If you start on Hole 3 for the first half of the round - scores should be placed on holes 3 - 11. You will also start your second round on hole 3. For the digital scorecard you will use holes 12 - 2 on the scorecard. Do not finalize/confirm the digital scorecard as a group until both 9-hole rounds are completed.
