About this tournament
Welcome to The DETour 2025 formerly known as the Northern Delaware Amateur Disc Golf Tour!
For those who have participated in the Northern Delaware Disc Golf Tour, much of this will be familiar to you, however as usual there will be updates, upgrades, and quality of life improvements so it's best to read through the description.
The biggest change to the tour, and part of the reason for the rebrand is that we are opening up the tour to the pro players in the area! Pro's will compete against other pros, but all players will be able to witness and play together to get their rounds counted.
Participants will compete in a “tour style” unsanctioned tournament over the course of the disc golf season, culminating in a Tour Championship style tournament!
As usual, ladies will be eligible for the tour playoffs, but they will also compete in a ladies specific division.
THIS YEAR WE WILL HAVE BASE DIVISIONS AND OPTIONAL SUB DIVISIONS!
These divisions are as follows:
BASE
Amateur- Players rated below 940 per PDGA ratings or if the player has no PDGA rating we can discuss the appropriate division
Pro- Anyone rated 940 or above or anyone who wants to compete in the pro division bracket. You can sign up for the pro division if you are below 940.
OPTIONAL SUBDIVISIONS
New this year are optional subdivisions. To guarantee there is enough prize money for these divisions they will be an optional buy in. Players who sign up for these subdivisions are eligible to win the main division they sign up for and eligible to win the subdivision they have signed up for. Each subdivision is an additional $5 which will all be paid out to top players in those divisions.
Subdivision 1: Masters- Anyone over the age of 50 or turning 50 in 2025
Subdivision 2: Juniors- Anyone who is 14 or under or turning 15 in 2025
Subdivision 3: Novice- Anyone who is below 900 rated as of March 2025.
Each month will have a course and layout that must be played in that month. Each player will complete one scored round at that course in that month. If a player is unable to play the course during the required month, they will be scored par +1 for all holes.
Players must play with 2 other players who are also part of the tour at minimum and post a timestamped scorecard/photo when they start their round. Players who have played their round and recorded a score can act as non-scoring judges on cards for players who have yet to complete their round but cannot change their scored round.
PLAYERS PACK THIS YEAR WILL IS TBD
AS USUAL, LOSCO GLASS WILL BE PROVIDING A SICK WINNERS TROPHIES
If there are any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact me.
