    A quote from Dale's Facebook page "Looking to beat corona cabin fever? PLAY DISC GOLF! It's been called "a walk in the woods with a purpose. ". Advantages include: social distancing is built in. You are rarely within 12 feet of anybody cause everyone's disc goes in a different direction. You get an hour and a half of walking hills and open spaces and forests. You will probably see birds and deer. There is no "deerrona" virus. You will sweat. You will swear and curse when you miss a putt and it feels good! It's outside! You will have at least one really good shot and you will appreciate it. You will walk, you will make the choice to enjoy the day and realize that whatever else happens, life is good."

About this tournament

The Dale Winters memorial will be held in memory of the late Dale Winters who was part of our disc golf family. He dedicated his life to disc golf and helping grow the sport. He was also someone that checked on everyone to see how they were doing. He will be greatly missed! The proceeds to the tournament will go towards purchasing a plaque for a memorial in his honor on the Broughton's property. If any proceeds are left over they will go towards purchasing baskets on the Sasquatch disc golf course.
