The Blizzard at Oz 2023 Ice Bowl
About this tournament
Thanks to ALL who helped and participated in this years Ice Bowl. 272 lbs of food and 786 dollars going to the Willoughby Food Pantry!!
Thank you all for your support this year as we throw "the Blizzard at Oz" once again. This year 20 dollars of your entry and all food will go to the Willoughby Food Pantry. We will meet at back of park pavilion.
There is parking now at the back of the park for a few (take side road by the pool) and after that fills please park up front and stay away from hole 1 basket in the back lot please. I have 45 assorted disc that include Stamped Rocs, Leopards and P2s, so registration opens at 9 AM sharp and first in line gets the first pick. Sorry I was not able to take disc orders per player this year but certain supply and available disc were unsure of at the time I ordered. We will play 5 per card and we will try to card up as you like. The only out of bounds in play tomorrow is Lake Erie and on or over road Hole 1 (Drop zone)
Please remember to bring 2 or more cans of food or non-perishable items.
Your 30-dollar entry includes:
Knowing you helped to feed the hungry at a critical time of year
Prizes 5 places out in A and B divisions
Prizes include 2 full color Buzz, a few Axiom craves, and a few of last years cool stamped Teebirds. CTPs include
A JTs diner gift card
2 Anhyzer design gift cards
stamped disc
Printed socks
Printed towel
A ring of fire will be thrown for a 3-piece IB set of socks towel and disc!
A 2-dollar 50/50 ace fund will be offered as an option. 50% going to the pantry.
This is a registered official Ice Bowl and all funds and food will contribute to the national total.
After we are done throwing, we will meet across the street from the park at Lakeshore Lounge (who also collected food for our cause), for awards and a free Hot Dog! If their lot is full park on the side street not on fire hydrant side.
Remember this is a benefit with no ratings worries, so please enjoy your round at an older 9-hole cool in the Winter course!! Lake County Disc golf appreciates your support!!
