Hello Everyone! Thanks for signing up and lets have some fun. We have been dreaming of a multiple course event here for some time and this should be an awesome start. I am sure all of you have played COS but some may have not played Lemuria. Its a new course with some unique aspects. There has been lots of work on the course but still an intense more to come. Hello Everyone! Thanks for signing up and lets have some fun. We have been dreaming of a multiple course event here for some time and this should be an awesome start. I am sure all of you have played COS but some may have not played Lemuria. Its a new course with some unique aspects. There has been lots of work on the course but still an intense more to come. Both courses are very different and this should provide some interesting play and technic’s.

It is supposed to be hot on Saturday so be prepared with anything you may need for comfort. There will be water provided but always come prepared. We will have some food available after the second round (BBq type) at Lemuria so make sure to bring or get some food between the morning round and the afternoon round. Also if you have an Easy up then feel free to set it up as the shade is somewhat limited until maybe 4PM. I have created some new awesome shade spots but its still gonna be blazing hot.

The course will be open everyday so please feel free to come practice. I would suggest early in the morning or start around 4pm or later. Its hotter than Bruce Wills’ balls on an August afternoon.

Directions to Lemuria

Go to the intersection of Big Springs Road and Sunset Rd in “Montague”. There are silver mailboxes on the corner. Drive down sunset Rd almost half a mile. You will see a pink disc and a Red gate. Enter there and drive on down to the established area. I painted some parking spots with orange markers so look out for those. If we run out of parking in the main area there is a back entrance at the campground.

Special Course Rules - Lemuria

DIGITAL SCORING IN EFFECT: Password is : sunset

SOJ rules in effect - No two meter rule.

All property border barbed wire fence is OB and two meters relief is allowed. Any barbed wire within the property is not OB but you may play 2 meters away from it if you need.


Rocks may be moved in players footing or behind for run up, only if they can be moved by the individual. No help or its too big and you must play on the rock or if it is “unplayable” then you may go behind the lie for as far as needed. “unplayable” is determined by the whole group. I have never seen an unplayable shot here yet so likely if there are rocks or some obstacle you will play it as it lies.

UOB COS Rules will be discussed at the players meeting in the morning. The course has changed a bit so the club will go over those as needed.

The course is on Udisc so you can see distances on there. I wouldnt believe them exactly as Udisc is tricky to get them perfect.

Parking at COS may be a little crowded that morning due to some Construction near the football field. So parking will be just before the typical parking near the baseball field and the Theatre.


SCHEDULE -

First Round

Check in starts at 8:00am at COS with the first round starting at 9:00am.

Players Meeting at 8:40am

Second Round and Final 9 : Second Round will begin at 3:00PM at Lemuria

Final 9 will begin about 20-30 minutes after the second round has concluded.

Prizes will be awarded afterwards. The players who make the final 9 will all have a chance to move up or down and potentially knock some one out of the cash. All ties for the final 5th spot still will make the final 9. The players scores after the second round will be kept for the final 9. Anyone who does not make the cut is encouraged to stay and become the gallery and watch the action go down. Hopefully we can keep it close and exciting. Party on Wayne.

You can after party as long as you want.


Feel free to BYOB or whatever you want to make yourself happy. There will be Beers for sale at Lemuria as well as some Product vending and the “Siskiyou Disc Golf Club” will be selling discs and Bag Tags, so please feel free to support them. Thanks everyone!

Look out for the event email soon. I will send on Wednesday with basic details. They are mostly on this page anyway but a few updates and insights will be offered. Also if anyone wants to camp they are welcome to camp for 10 bucks. Also if you have a pop up tent or anything then feel free to bring it as any shade helps at Lemuria. Pretty stoked for this format and being at two courses. If you know anyone who doesn't use face book or anything, feel free to let them know and invite them.

This is a unique format so I’m not doing lots of division’s. So if you are advanced or intermediate then just sign up under the intermediate. We want enough in single divisions so making the top 5 for the final 9 is exciting. Same goes for the open division.
