No need to fear this PDGA XC-Tier tournament, where the rules mean low risk, high reward! You will not receive a rating for this tournament, which means you also don't need to play safe. To further encourage you to RUN IT ALLLLLLL, we will be using a version of modified Stableford scoring to make aggressive play the order of the day!
Play 18 holes from Burke shorts (at hangover-friendly tee times) chasing a $10 per player ace pot! The version of Stableford scoring we're using will work like this:
Eagle - 9 points
Birdie - 6 points
Par - 4 points
Bogey - 3 points
Double bogey or worse - 1 point
So a bogey-free round where you have eight birdies for a -8 in stroke play is 10 pars @ 4 = 40 + 8 birdies @ 6 = 48 = 88 total points.
A round of 6 pars, 5 bogies, 5 birdies, one double bogey, and one ace = 79 points.
Most points wins.
We are only offering 12 divisions: MPO, FPO, MA1-4, FA1-4, MJ18, and FJ18. All AM players will receive a player pack item with True Amateur Format trophy distribution. PRO divisions will get 100% of gross entry fees paid out.
