The Alaska State Championships presented by Prodigy will be held in Nikiski, Alaska this year! Featuring cement tee pads now on every single hole (Short’s and Long’s), manicured fairways and a variety of tee pad locations, it's shaping up to be an exceptionally professional event, aiming at rivaling King of the Hill for its prestige.
It will be 3 rounds of 18 holes for every division, then MPO will play a final 9 layout that will be decided on and finalized before the tournament begins. The gallery opportunity to watch someone take home the State Title will be truly amazing. Ams will be trophy only, however with lunch provided both days and the player packs shaping up the way they are, you'll be getting more than your money's worth back. We will have Ace Pots and CTP's for both pros and ams as well. As of now we have $1000 added cash!!
Players Pack will include: 3 Discs, A Sportsack, A Towel, A Reusable Scorecard, A Can Snap Cap, and Lunch both days and some other extras.
Lastly, I'd like to note that this year the State Championships will require preregistration. This will allow the event to be run as smooth as possible, and provide for a better player experience. The player field will be capped at 72 players in order to ensure speed of play and the highest quality experience possible for all participants. If we hit this cap early on with plenty of time before the tournament, this could potentially be adjusted. No refunds will be available after July 26th.
