About this tournament
The Fort Washington Disc Golf Club and The Friends of Sedgley Woods are pleased to bring you The 4th Annual Fort and Friends Crosstown.
For the Amateur divisions, this year’s event will be a True Amateur Event (https://www.pdga.com/td/true-amateur). “True Amateur” is the designation used by the Professional Disc Golf Association in reference to those amateur events, or the amateur portion of an event, which promote that true spirit of amateur athletics by presenting only trophies to the top finishers of the tournament rather than a payout in merchandise. Instead, all players in the event receive equal value through their tournament experience due to the tournament amenities that are provided.
All amateurs will receive a player’s pack with a custom stamped disc from dynamic discs ($20 value) and a large custom towel featuring both course maps ($26 value). This towel is exclusive to the tournament and will not be sold anywhere else (https://grumpygoatdiscgolf.com/)! Lots of CTPs for all amateurs during both rounds. Trophies for amateur divisions of 4 or more (by 5/22). Tannery run will also be sponsoring the afterparty with several of their fabulous beers on tap.
All pro divisions will receive cash payouts. With at least 100% of net entry fees being paid out!
