About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Hello all!
Welcome to The 2025 Green Ribbon Open!
This tournament is being held in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month (May).
The goal of this tournament is to bring awareness to the importance of mental health and raise funds for an organization that is intentionally helping better the mental wellbeing of others. This year it has been decided to donate to The Sadie Rose Foundation.
From The Sadie Rose Foundation website:
We are an official non-profit 501(c)3 organization offering support to families and individuals who have experienced the death of a loved one. We are based in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
We offer support to families and individuals who have experienced the death of a loved one, including through pregnancy loss and miscarriage. All our support and services are offered free of charge.
https://sadierosefoundation.org/
If you have organizations you think may be an option for donations in future years, please let me know.
Round 1 layout will be primarily White Baskets
Round 2 layout will be primarily Green Baskets with a Partial Safari Layout
In the registration form you will find a drop down menu for donating to The Sadie Rose Foundation.
As in previous years, any remaining funds after all tournament costs have been resolved will be donated.
Wearing green (mental health awareness), purple, and/or teal (suicide prevention) to show support is encouraged, but not required.
This is a true amateur event.
The TD reserves the right to condense divisions that have fewer than four competitors into the next applicable division.
