About this tournament

We welcome all players to the 10th Annual Two Town Turkey Trot. One round at Leonard Park in Mt. Kisco, NY and one round at FDR State Park in Yorktown Heights, NY.

We will continue with last year's goal of increasing participation and have the field be open to 144 players (72 starting at each course and then switching). In addition this will once again be an XC Tier where ratings will apply.

This is our 2023 bag tag kickoff event so come on out and support WeDGE! 2023 WeDGE membership is included in the registration price. Per the PDGA guidelines we have to include "Club Members Only" in the name since we are requiring the purchase of a 2023 membership.

Registration:

7:00 - 7:50 am at your assigned course

All player information will be emailed the night before so there will be no players meeting. There will be no shuffling of cards between rounds, so you will play both rounds with the same individuals. You will be expected to be at your hole ready to tee off for the 1st round at 8:13, which is when we will call two minutes. Tee off exactly at 8:15.
After the last card comes in, players will have to travel to the next course. Including travel time people will be given roughly 1 hour for lunch break.

2nd round will begin roughly around 12:30 - 12:45

MP & FP players will play for cash payouts.
All other divisions will receive trophies.
Trophies will be provided to players based on the number of players in the division:
1-3 players (1 trophy)
4-5 players (2 trophies)
6+ players (3 trophies)
Players Packs for Am players only: a nice WeDGE winter hat.

Layouts:
Kisco: Short baskets (except for hole 9)
FDR: Yellow front, White back

Entry fees are as follows:
MP/FP: $65
All other divisions $45
$5 from each player goes towards admin fees and trophies

Ace Pot: $3. If it is not hit, we will donate ace pot funds to a local food bank.

Lunch: Turkey Gobbler sandwiches from Rocky's Deli will be available to purchase during registration and will be waiting for you at Kisco. If you do not purchase lunch it is suggested that you bring lunch because there is a quick turnaround with travel required between courses.

Hole Sponsorships for $25 will be available that will help go towards the cost of the event.

Even though my Assistant TD has changed to Sean Ryan, Jim Coyle is excited to bring back Sock it to Hunger this year. Donate during registration or bring some change in a sock to donate that will be given to a local food bank.
