Thanksgiving Throwdown

Join us for the Thanksgiving Throwdown MVP vs. Axiom Series Open Doubles Tournament. We are organizing this as a fundraiser to benefit an area family of 4 who has been dealing with a tremendously difficult road since the 4th of July when dad /father was hospitalized suddenly in very serious condition. In an attempt to help alleviate some of the normal financial burdens that the holidays incur on a family of 4 with 2 grade-school-aged children, we are putting together a fun day of fall disc golf with many other short games, challenges and raffles finished off with a pre-Thanksgiving Feast. With mom juggling it all and working as much as possible to maintain their household finances around regular hospital visits and two kids activity schedules, we wanted to raise some money to assist in their Christmas shopping for their son and daughter. It has been a long and difficult 3 months since the kids have seen their father and there is still a long road for him to fully recover and be able to come home. We hope to keep the family anonymous at this challenging time but our goal is to help bring a little magic to the Christmas season for this family and help lighten the load. UPDATE On Friday, October 12th he was taken off life-saving measures. Now sadly we are trying to raise money to help ease the burden of the holidays while mourning the loss of a Father and Husband. Please get registered and involved. We appreciate your help and support as I'm sure the family involved will as well.

ALSO Please know that if you don't have a partner it's ok. We can draw partners on the day of the tournament. This is a charity fundraiser for fun and community support. It's not like there is prize money. If you have any questions please feel free to call or text me.
