Welcome to our first ever Teen event here at Seventh Mountain Resort.
Our goal is to keep it simple and Fun!
Check in at tournament central. We will be stationed by hole 9.
I will have a short introduction and go over a few rules as listed below.
1) Your disc will be considered out of bounds OB if it lands on or over pavement.
Bring your disc back onto the fairway at the point of where it went out. Measure in one meter (3 feet) from OB. Mark your lie. Add one penalty stroke to your score.
2) Use your mini or your thrown disc to mark your lie. And stand behind it when throwing or putting your next shot.
We will have a scoreboard with numbers 1-9 on it.
This tells you what tee you will be starting on.
Your name will be on a card under the number that designates your tee assignment.
You will play in groups of 3 or 4.
Keeping score will be done amongst the players. We will be using a paper and pencil to write down scores. Also there is an app called UDisc you can download and keep score that way too.
Parents and siblings are allowed to follow the player, but please keep in mind to be respectful and be quiet.
To begin play I will shout START. The player first on the card throws first and so on. Record your score to score keeper. To play the next hole the player with the lowest score goes first.
After 2 rounds return to tournament central. Everyone must check their scores to make sure it was written down and added up correctly.
We will be serving lunch and playing a fast putting game. Staff will arrange cards according to score per division.
We will start the second round same as the first. Players will play 2 rounds of 9 holes =18 Add up your score and turn it into tournament central.
As scorecards come in, staff will tally the total scores for the day. If there is a tie for 1st place. There will be a playoff starting on hole one and continue till one player shoots a lower score.
If no one hits an ace we will have a closest to the pin CTP throw off
