Hi Matt,
I’m curious as to why you don’t post the results to Udisc?

Question on hole 12: played there on Wednesday and saw the white flags on the left side of the fairway around the casual water area. Does that mean the area to the left of those flags will be OB for the tourney and is there a drop zone or just the usual 1 m in from the OB? Or will this be played as casual water with relief? It's already a very tight landing zone, so making that OB will make it a very tough hole. I can live with that, of course, but just want to know what to prepare for and how to play it. Looking forward to a gorgeous day to play a disc golf tourney at a great course!

Left of flags will be OB. The drop zone will be in the middle of that stone path.

Thanks!!

Thanks for posting the layouts!

Just to clarify, round 1 & 2 will be played on identical layouts this year. Is that correct? I know in the past, we have played some different holes for round 2.

Correct. Same layout both rounds. Takeover Am Day on Udisc both round 1 & 2

Hi! I played this course for the first time today and heard a lot of players talking about the tournament which sparked my interest in signing up. I've played disc golf for years, but have never done a formal tournament so I was curious if the tournament still has spots available and if so, what amateur tier should I sign up for? I still need to register with the PDGA to get a number but wanted to ensure there were still spots left before joining. Thanks in advance for the guidance!

The tournament is ful and there is a wait list. No cost to get on the wait list but you must be a PDGA member to play.

Thanks for the info!

Hi! I have an injury that puts me in a boot into late October and need to withdraw... I'm not concerned about a refund but would love to still get the OTB Hoodie without preventing someone else signing up for the pro day. Is that possible? Thanks!

Hey Lauren. FPO layout will be posted on Udisc and here later today.

Thank you Matt, I appreciate it!

I signed up for the pro day just because it’s the only day I’m available and I don’t want to miss out on Tecumseh, but if FPO is playing the same layout that was just posted for MPO I will be dropping. I personally don’t feel this layout makes sense as an FPO player, the adjusted pars and holes playing the same as the MPO will be a struggle and tank our ratings. I don’t know how the other FPO players feel but that’s my opinion. Please let me know what layout FPO will be playing so I can make my decision. Thank you.

Hi Lauren. Good question. FPO layout is n UDISC. Mostly adjusted pars and short hole 1.

Lauren Keller   August 27 at 9:07pm

Thanks John!

is this PDGA sanctioned?

Josh Snyder   August 22 at 1:13pm

Yes this is PDGA Sanctioned. It is a two day event so there are 2 separate PDGA events: one for the Am Day and one for the Pro Day. Disc golf scene isn't able to link to 2 pdga events at once so each event is being updated manually. I will post the links to the Pro Day and the Am Day in the about section.

thanks..forgot about that issue.

I saw the wait listers in MA1 were accepted. I absolutely love playing this tournament and was hoping and wondering if MA2 waitlisted players will get accepted?

Just so I understand, if I'm #2 on the waitlist and want to play MA1 and #1 on the waitlist is for Ma60, and someone from MA1 drops, does the Ma60 player get placed in Ma60 or does the ma1 slot get filled by me since im the next in line for an MA1 slot.

Joshua Kern   August 22 at 8:49pm

If you’re #2 on the waitlist, the ma60 player who is #1 gets in before you do. In this scenario, division doesn’t matter. All players playing on the am day are the same. If there were 4 ma60 players in front of you and 4 ma1 players dropped out, all 4 ma60 players would get in.

Frank Uhl   August 23 at 2:10am

Understood, thank you, and thanks for putting together the tournament. Such a fun course to play.

Any chance of MA60 division being added?
