Windsor Essex Disc Golf (WEDG) is a small and dedicated volunteer organization that promotes the sport of disc golf in the Windsor and Essex County, Ontario area. Our goal is to see more people outside, enjoying the wonderful sport of disc golf in permanent installation courses in Windsor and Essex County.

What: "Tecumseh Open" Disc Golf Event. The first ever disc golf event for Windosr / Essex County Ontario.
Beginner Friendly event.
Smoke Free event.

We will have 18 real baskets for this event

Where: Lakewood Park 13451 Riverside Drive East , Tecumseh, Ontario N8P 1H4

When: Saturday September 20, 2014. Registration from 9:00 to 10:00am Registration also available at: http://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/Tecumseh_Open_2014

Why: WEDG is working on bringing disc golf to this location in a permanent installation course. Disc Golf is a low-cost, year round, all ages outdoor activity that is growing at a steady rate across the globe. Currently there are no courses in Essex County, although WEDG is working to bring the public a permanent course.

Other Event Details:
Cost: $20 (US or CAD accepted) to play, one round of 18 holes, followed by open play on the course after lunch.
A limited amount of commemorative discs will be available as part of the entry fee.
