Welcome to the 2024 Team Stony Match Play Open.
Join us for a low cost, high fun, pressure putting, unsanctioned singles match play event!
Two 16 player brackets (pro & am), random seeded, match play singles. Open to everyone!

Seeding
Random draw.
You will be randomly seeded into your respective bracket.
Each bracket is capped at 16 players.
Format
Match Play - Singles - Stroke Play
Each match will be 9 holes max then a sudden death playoff if needed.
Skins are won by beating your opponent on a hole.
Skins are 1 point each and they do NOT carry over.
The match is won when one player has more skins then there are holes remaining.
Ties will play sudden death on their current layout.
Each foursome in round 1 will be able to play two matches together and will produce one player to advance before returning to TC
Match One:
Pros play layout #1 Blue
Ams play layout #2 Green front 9
Match Two:
Pros play layout #2 Green front 9
Ams play layout #1 Blue
(You can start match two from any hole on that layout)
Semifinals:
Will be played on layout #3 Green back 9. It will be 2 foursomes.
Finals:
Pros play Blue layout #1 starting on hole 1.
Ams play layout #2 Green front 9 starting on hole 1.

#1. Blue 1 thru 6 then 15 thru 18 (10 holes)
#2. Green 1 thru 9
#3. Green 10 thru 18

Long tees - Pro bracket
Short tees - Am bracket
Payout
Payout to 1st & 2nd place in both brackets 70/30.
Cash on site for the pro payouts.

There are no fees to play this event. You will need to pay to get into Stony. Just be advised the courses will be open to the public while we play. The pay booth at the course is closed for the season.
