This was a hard but very enjoyable tournament. I did swear a few times, but all self inducted. Thanks for doing this tournament and hope to do it again.

Lost my blue Mortar in the creek on hole 13 during round 1; when I went back it wasn't there anymore. Anyone pull it out and forget to drop it at tourney central?

All OB has been marked with paint or string! We are so excited the course looks amazing and we can't wait to see how it plays with all of the OB! Flags go in tomorrow and we will be all set and ready to go!

It really depends on how many people sign up, but you can estimate 4 people every 15 minutes

How fair is the OB? Like is there a fair gap for each hole? Just wondering cuz the last B tier I played jn 2 1/2 hours away, 3-4 of the holes literally had like 60 trees in the fairway and literally had no line and literally and like 1 ft gaps lol. Just making sure that it’s not a throw and pray course lol

There’s one hole that’s a little tough to find a line for 2 but the rest of the course is fair as far as finding a line. Can’t speak on the OB but I’m pretty excited about it because it’s definitely a course that lends itself to punishing OB.

What do you think the group sizes and gaps between tee times will be?

4 in a group and we will tee off every 12-15 minutes (depends on who signs up) and we start at 9am

If registration stays on the low side can we push out the distance between groups? Playing without a backup would be nice.

I have never heard of a tournament that didn't allow an adult caddy. Just know that all the rules that apply to you also apply to them.

All PDGA sanctioned events allow caddies. Details in the pdga rule book

Payout amounts will depend on number of players in the division. Payouts will be issued as a gift card to players’ emails. There will be an onsite proshop Sunday. Gift cards can also be used at future team idlewild events and/or online at teamidlewild.shop

It'll be interesting to see how the ratings for rounds at CFP change! Some places (like the right side of holes 2-3, 7-9, 13, 16-17) don't really need OB -- if you go in there, you're gonna be taking an extra stroke or two anyway!!

I think what you guys are missing is that they said tall stuff which a lot of the landing zones to score on 3,8,10,11,13-17 you have better approach shots by pushing the tall stuff and you can say ob would of helped your score but in reality it’s more pressure on you to execution your next sh ... more

Yeah, I would agree with that - make tall grass OB, maybe take a line down the right side of 10's fairway, and leave the woods to be cruel.
Also yes I would please like for this to return!
