About this tournament
Two round C-tier event to be played exclusively on Talon course.
ROUND 1
EVERYONE plays same layout (Long Odds)
ROUND 2
Different divisions will play different layouts (Pros & MA1 = Longs, everyone else = Short Odds)
AM PLAYER PACKS: Each amateur registrant will receive a tournament stamped disc. Choices include Origio Burst Harps, Prime Burst EMac Truths, Retro Burst Rivers, and Retro Burst Saints.
REMINDER FOR PRO DIVISIONS: Having a PDGA number (current or not) is REQUIRED to receive cash payouts. Players without a PDGA number that finish in a cash placement will be passed over and all payout spots will be bumped down. See PDGA Competition Manual 1.10.A for details.
NOTE FOR FPO: RedHawk Disc Golf always sponsors the FPO division, making up the difference between FPO and MPO entry fees so FPO gets an equal per-capita share of any added cash.
DIVISION POLICIES: RedHawk Disc Golf policy is that all non-age restricted divisions offered will be contested as long as there are any registered competitors. Age protected divisions that are offered for registration are subject to contraction (players moved to closest contested division) if there are fewer than 3 registered competitors. Involved players will be consulted before final decisions are made. For divisions that are not offered initially, they will be added if there are enough interested players to fill a card (minimum 3). Such players should sign up in an offered division for which they are eligible (to ensure they have a spot) and add a note with their preferred division. If there is enough interest, the division will be added and players moved automatically.
SCORING REMINDER: As of the 2024 season, PDGA rules require ALL players to keep score during play. PDGA Live scoring is the preferred scorekeeping method for this event. At least two players must keep a PDGA Live scorecard, but every player in the group may do so. Paper scorecards will be available for players who wish to use them to fulfill their scoring obligation. uDisc is also an acceptable alternative. Players should take the time following the round to verify that all scores kept by the group are in agreement before submitting their scores officially. Players are encouraged to prepare in advance: charge phones to full capacity and download/install the PDGA Live app if necessary.
