About this tournament
A non-sanctioned, low-key, low-cost Thanksgiving Day event to get you moving before you sit the rest of the day. Weather looks to be really nice on Thursday. Please review ALL of the info below, and then call/text 301-338-4533 with any questions. Thank you.
Tee time: 10 a.m. (Player check-in begins at 9:30 a.m.)*
Field size: Capped at 36.
Format: Singles. Cards of 3 players each as much as possible. After registering, email alleganyplayground(at)gmail.com to request players on a certain card (no promises).
Layout: Short tees to red baskets (1 round of 18 holes)
Entry fee: $10 per player. Online registration closes Thursday (11/23) at 8 a.m. In-person registration (cash or PayPal) permitted unless/until event reaches capacity.
Player pack: None.
Ace pot: $2 per player (optional, payable cash only on day of)
CTP: Top 3 (combined divisions) will win one disc each). One CTP throw is included in $10 registration fee. A player can earn a second throw by bringing and donating two (or more) canned goods. Only one extra throw per player. Canned goods will be delivered to the Washington County Community Action Council.
Cash payout: None.
Scoring: Players will score via uDisc (one per card).
Results: Will be published on AlleganyPlayground.com.
Prizes
Discs only. If the field reaches capacity (36 players), the top prize available will be an Axiom Glow Crave from the 2019 MVP Open - signed by Paige Pierce and Sarah Hokom. All prizes based on participation, but planning on Men's Rec, Men's Advanced and Women's divisions). Also Juniors divisions as applicable. Either 1, 2 or 3 deep (depending on depth of field in each division). Other division winners could vye for a Scott Stokeley-signed Berg, or a Lattitude 64 Ballist signed by JohnE McCray (and his wife). Again, these three discs will be available if the field reaches max capacity.
Divisions
Divisions will be assigned based on performance of six pre-determined holes.
If it's an all adult-male field, it's possible there will be three divisions (Adv, Int, Rec). Otherwise, we plan to have as many divisions as reason can permit. How many divisions, and how "deep" we award prizes in each division, depends on turnout.
Bathrooms
Players should note there will not be bathroom facilities on site (the bathrooms have been closed for the winter).
Proceeds
Net proceeds from this event, if any, will help fund future activities of the Allegany County Disc Golf Club.
Players must be in good standing with the Allegany County Disc Golf Club in order to participate. The club reserves the right to reject any entry within legal limits.
The published timeline is an estimate only. Once the event begins at 10 a.m., the timeline could move faster, or a bit slower, than anticipated.

Refund policy
There will be no refunds issued for this event. Registration opens at 6 p.m. on Nov. 20 and the event is Nov. 23. Please check your schedule before registering. Thank you for supporting the Allegany County Disc Golf Club.
