Tahoe Ice Bowl 2020

South Tahoe Disc Golf Association in partnership with El Dorado Disc Golf Sports is hosting an Ice Bowl event at Bijou Disc Golf Course on Saturday, February 29th, 2020.

An Ice Bowl is a charitable fundraising disc golf competition. Ever since the first Ice Bowl in 1987 in Columbia, Missouri; event organizers all over the country have been raising funds and collecting food donations for their local food closets. Ice Bowls are usually held during the months of January and February. This will be the first ever Ice Bowl at Bijou Disc Golf Course. The Tahoe Ice Bowl will be raising funds and collecting food donations for "Christmas Cheer All Year", a food closet located in South Lake Tahoe.

The Tahoe Ice Bowl is a singles event, 27 holes. All divisions are welcome. It is $35 plus two cans of food to enter the event. The first 75 players to register will receive a players package. The players packages include a 2020 Ice Bowl Disc and Mini, hand warmers, one raffle ticket and a bowl of soup after the round. Pro's that place will be paid out in cash and Amateurs that place will be paid out in discs. Mulligans will be available for purchase during the round. The 1st mulligan is $2, 2nd = $4, 3rd = $6, 4th = $8, 5th = $10. There will be a Closest to the Pin competition; $1 or one can of food for one shot. There will also be a Raffle after the round; $1 for one ticket, $5 for six tickets and $20 for twenty-five tickets.

Entry fee - $35 + two cans of food

Player check-in 8:30am-9:30am.

Player Meeting 9:30am.

Tee-off 10:00am.

One extra day this year, might as well spend it playing disc golf and raising money for charity.
